I never said she was banned, and I'm not dismayed. She was cancelled, and that was taken from her own website, along with her own speculation as to why. I think it probably did have to do with the media matters campaign, which I did not sign, because I have mixed feelings about advocacy groups pressuring networks.

However, I believe that any network or news organization has every right in the world to reject having someone who has called for the deaths of Americans on their show. And I really do feel sorry for anyone, like you, who defends this thing. She is horrible, a deathmonger, and a terrorist supporter. There is no doubt that she is anti-American. You can't call for the deaths of more Americans in terror attacks, and not be.

I am grateful I have more brains, and more class than anyone who gets involved with defending this thing. I hope some day, you find a little more grace within yourself.

I have not seen conservatives charge a stage and try to assualt the liberal speaker

I have not seen conservative college teachers (there are not that many) walk out on liberal speakers, or publicly demand the liberal speakers be cancelled

I have not seen conservative students pelt recruiters from Planned Parenthood with empty water bottles and trash like liberal students do to Military recruiters sitting at their table

Need more examples of liberal tolerance toward those they disagree with?

So first it was "They have every right to do so. Libs tell us to shut up or turn the dial - while libs want the "offending" host or show removed from the air", and now its assaulting speakers.



Has Coulter been assaulted? Or was this a decision made by mgmt?

If you want the freedom for businesses to be able to run their own operations, you have to be willing to let them make their own decisions.

I have seen tape of libs trying to throw pies, eggs, and other things at her several times. This is the tolerance liberals show constantly

Hey, NBC is the offical network of Pres Obama - and they can do what they want. Their liberal bias is hurting them, and until they change back to a news network and just report the facts - their rating will not improve very much

Ok, so the libs are not tolerant. I don't think that was ever really in question.


But the fact remains, the cancellation of Ann Coulter (not happening now, I believe) was a decision made by network mgmt.

And the fact that the same people who scream about Obama's ties to terrorism are screaming in SUPPORT of Coulter defies all logic. The woman has publically advocated terrorist acts. WTF?

Yes, NBC is backtracking

NBC first said they did not want guests who were critical of Obama - which makes sense since given the people the have on while the network is on the air

After all, Chris Matthews said his JOB is now to make sure the Obama adminstration succeeds

I wonder how liberals would react if say Brit Hume said the same thing in 2000 when pres Bush was elected?

Coulter is a nutjob, plain & simple. I don't know why NBC gave her a forum in the first place, or why any other network does. This isn't mere liberal ranting; she's an insane individual, who somehow has people thinking of her as a "pundit."

On Sunday, Meet The Press may have one conservative on the roundtable - with about 3 of 4 libs to counter

They didn't attack their country, as I recall. They said they were embarrassed to be from the same place Bush is from. They were making fun of the president.

An no, they are not op-ed writers. They are artists. And yet they were attacked and received death threats.

When did nbc say that? That is the official nbc position? Can you give me a link for that I'd like to read it. I would understand it's market politics, the guy has the highest approval rating for any incoming President in history. But I still believe that dissent is important.

I believed that back when NBC let go Phil Donahue, who had the highest ratings of any MSNBC show at that time, a decision which a released internal memo showed was made because "it's not good for us to have someone on who is against this (Iraq) war".

Actually, there was a press study which showed that MTP had on more con guests than liberal ones. Are you sure you are not just emoting ?
