Could the USA erupt like Egypt is right now?

This is absolute propaganda. Yeah, those mean old rich folks living off the sweat of the working man, huh?

That is correct.

The average Dr has school debts of $140,000, compared to the average college grad debt of 20,000.

Ohhhh so the American people should pay for thei5r malpractice insurance and overpriced service because their education system is overpriced also.(Note sarcasm). Gotcha!

The average Dr has been in school and training for 11 years since he graduated high school. And for several years of that time he was working at least 60 hours a week, if not more, in order to get where he is now.

Yes, he makes $250k a year. But that is not something that is given to him. It is something that he earned. So if we are going to make a Dr pay 20% of his income in taxes, then people making $50k a year should pay $10k a year in taxes.

Ohhhhhh 11 years in training you say? Then I guess that justifies them exploiting medical illnesses and misfortunes by charging outrageous fees. Thank you for setting me straight.(again note sarcasm).

And I thought Doctors were in it to save lives and because they like to help people. I guess the Cuban doctors must have missed the memo too.(note sarcasm).

UMmm that is not how tax brackets work, and this is not about paying taxes. its about passing down expenses.

Words can conjure up such wonderful images. When you say "A man must take from many..." its hard to see that as anything but theft.

But most rich people have a skill or something of value that people want to buy. No one forces them to shop for his products or use his services. He may pitch a good ad campaign, but it is still the "many" that will give him their money in exchange for something he has.

You know? There was a time when it took decades for people to become wealthy. Though today? Everyone wants to get rich over night. That is why people over charge and try to make ridiculous unlawful profit.

Not to mention the people selling out America by investing in China.

There is no stability in the markets, with people trading huge volumes of stock by the day. No one invests for the long term any more. Its all about flipping your dollar over night.

Most wealthy people are not getting wealthy from honest gain these days. The guys making the big money are doing so unlawfully.

This is nothing new under the sun with cities like Miami, New York, Chicago, LA all built on criminal money.

I understand what dirt poor is. I also understand a strong work ethic. Something I taught my children and something I saw my family take advantage of when I was growing up. The opportunity for the middle class to grow in this country is almost gone. It's already gone in Egypt, Greece, and on and on.

What's so goofy is that social programs are the enemy of a vibrant middle class and yet you wonder at their disappearence?

Egypt's trouble is not capitalism or socialism - its a faux democracy. Greece on the other hand has over spent itself due directly to a socialized democracy.

A vibrant middle class has 3 parts the upper classes (these consist of high income earners but not the super wealthy); middle; and lower income. Socialism errodes the middle and upper classes first creating a mediocre existance with little or no hope of ever reaching the upper middle again, which itself begins shrinking until you have nothing left for the government to squeeze-then come the cuts for all those so called freebies and the people revolt and riot! Think Western Europe.

That is correct..
No, that is bullshit. (note the lack of sarcasm)

Ohhhh so the American people should pay for thei5r malpractice insurance and overpriced service because their education system is overpriced also.(Note sarcasm). Gotcha!.

So you want to punish the Dr for the fact that this country is litigation crazy and the education system is overpriced? Thats just great. Its funny that someone works that hard for that long, and you despise them because of their salary. But someone who doesn't work hard is a victim. Interesting double standard you have there.

Ohhhhhh 11 years in training you say? Then I guess that justifies them exploiting medical illnesses and misfortunes by charging outrageous fees. Thank you for setting me straight.(again note sarcasm)..
Exploiting medical illnesses and misfortunes? WTF? A huge number of illnesses and accidents could be prevented. Obesity is at epidemic rates, hard drug abuse is rampant, and people wait until the minor problems become major problems to see a doctor. And you want to bitch at him for the costs??

And I thought Doctors were in it to save lives and because they like to help people. I guess the Cuban doctors must have missed the memo too.(note sarcasm)..

I am sure some start out only looking for a big paycheck. But I doubt they make it thru the grueling years of school, med school, internshit ect ect. Most doctors want to help people. But there is no reason they should not be compensated for their skills, knowledge and dedication. And you want to punish them for that.

UMmm that is not how tax brackets work, and this is not about paying taxes. its about passing down expenses.

Tax brackets are bullshit by any standards except those of a leech. If you work harder and achieve more, you are stuck with bigger bills and expected to carry far more than your share of the burden. Or if you goof off and barely get by, the IRS will take money from someone who earned it and give it to you for free.

Every business passes down expenses and costs. That is why the liberal cries for more corporate taxes are so stupid. They are passed on to the consumer every time. People pay taxes, businesses and corporations do not.

You know? There was a time when it took decades for people to become wealthy. Though today? Everyone wants to get rich over night. That is why people over charge and try to make ridiculous unlawful profit.

There was a time when you could only really advertise locally. There was a time when shipping products took huge investments and great risks. But now people can market an idea faster, to more people and with less risk. And why? Because people before them created television, radio, and the internet. Because people risked their moneyto create safer and more efficient ways to handle money and move freight.

And just what is the justification for your call the profits "ridiculous" and "unlawful"? If I am willing to pay a set price for something, why should the business sell for less?

Not to mention the people selling out America by investing in China.

There is no stability in the markets, with people trading huge volumes of stock by the day. No one invests for the long term any more. Its all about flipping your dollar over night.

And more and more people make money and then retire early to enjoy their life. Fewer and fewer spend their entire lives chasing a dream. More and more achieve it.

Most wealthy people are not getting wealthy from honest gain these days. The guys making the big money are doing so unlawfully.

Any evidence to back that up or is that just your fervent hope so you can justify the innocence & victimhood of everyone who is not rich?

No, that is bullshit. (note the lack of sarcasm)

Bullshit? You call a business man who passes down all his expenses to the consumer not living off the backs of the consumer?

So you want to punish the Dr for the fact that this country is litigation crazy and the education system is overpriced? Thats just great. Its funny that someone works that hard for that long, and you despise them because of their salary. But someone who doesn't work hard is a victim. Interesting double standard you have there.

No lets punish the poor with over priced medical bills. After all they were not rich enough to afford 11 years in university(note major sarcasm.)

Dont talk to me about double standards. America is a queen of double standards.

Spare me the drama. If people are becoming doctors so they can get rich, they shouldn't become doctors.

Exactly. People do not go see a doctor for minor problems buecause they cannot afford to see thier doctors and next thing you know it develops into something serious. Here in Canada, EVERYONE can see the doctor anytime, and catch illnesses at an early stage. And the doctors are not payed an arm and a leg to do it.

Yes, I have been promoting healthy lifestyles in America to bring down health care insurance and make the transition to a Universal health care system more easier.

I am sure some start out only looking for a big paycheck. But I doubt they make it thru the grueling years of school, med school, internshit ect ect. Most doctors want to help people. But there is no reason they should not be compensated for their skills, knowledge and dedication. And you want to punish them for that.

If that is the case? Why do they not support a universal health care system, which would cause their pay to decrease? Simply because many are in it for profit. How many doctors were threatening to quit if a Universal health care came to America?

Listen. The doctors in Canada makea lot less then American doctors, yet they are still paid very well. My doctor is always on vacation and only works 4 days a week!

Tax brackets are bullshit by any standards except those of a leech. If you work harder and achieve more, you are stuck with bigger bills and expected to carry far more than your share of the burden. Seems in America? The government is taking money(taxes) from the tax payer and giving it to Corporations, via huge tax exemptions(and bailouts). Therefore they are NOT paying their fair share.

Dont get me started on taxes. Lets stay on subject.

Have you seen the cost of advertising? Advertising benefits the rich.

Just to let you know? Radio which started it all, was invented by the USSR.

Technology is not used to aid us, but to further enslave us. Why do you think Rome built the roads? For the people?

And just what is the justification for your call the profits "ridiculous" and "unlawful"? If I am willing to pay a set price for something, why should the business sell for less?

When they over charge.

And more and more people make money and then retire early to enjoy their life. Fewer and fewer spend their entire lives chasing a dream. More and more achieve it.

Oh please. The American dream is all but dead.

Any evidence to back that up or is that just your fervent hope so you can justify the innocence & victimhood of everyone who is not rich?

Considering I know many wealthy people and they are all connected to organize crime? I'd say I have enough proof.

Bullshit? You call a business man who passes down all his expenses to the consumer not living off the backs of the consumer?

No, I call a man passing down the costs of doing business a businessman. The definition of "profit" is the money that is left after costs and expenses are paid. You are just angry that the punative taxes you want are not going to work. And most businesses are not selling something that is a critical requirement for survival. They are selling things people want.

Rich enough to afford it? What nonsense. If they were going to medical school because they were rich, they would start a practice $140,000 in debt. Virtually anyone in the US, with proper effort, can get scholarships to attend a good university. Graduate from there with good grades and you can get into medical school. Medicine is one area that hard work actually does get you somewhere.

No drama involved. I admitted that some may start into the field looking for money, but I also said I doubt they make it. Most doctors are in it because they genuinely want to help people.

I'm happy for Canada. But I was not simply referringto poor people. 80% of the people in the US have some sort of health insurance. They are just as guilty of not taking care of themselves and not getting preventative care. This is not about money but about a culture of instant gratification and instant cures.

Seems in America? The government is taking money(taxes) from the tax payer and giving it to Corporations, via huge tax exemptions(and bailouts). Therefore they are NOT paying their fair share.

Dont get me started on taxes. Lets stay on subject.

And the bottom 50% of tax payers effectively pay little or not taxes at all. They also do not pay their fair share.

Have you seen the cost of advertising? Advertising benefits the rich.

Have you seen the number of new products that you are exposed to on tv, radio, and the internet? Are they all from big corporations? Are they all local? Advertising benefits those selling products.

Just to let you know? Radio which started it all, was invented by the USSR.

Thanks for that bit of trivia, but it is totally irrelevant to the topic at hand. The radio shows, and therefore the advertising, was created and grown by businessmen.

Technology is not used to aid us, but to further enslave us. Why do you think Rome built the roads? For the people?
No one is forced to use technology. The Amish do quite well without it. Anyone who wishes to can avoid all but the most basic technology. It is that people want it that makes it valuable.

When they over charge.

Overcharge? If I make widgets, and it costs me $5 per widget to make them, and one guy will buy all I can make for $7 and another will buy all I can make for $12, why would I sell for $7? If the item is overpriced, it won't sell. And other than the most basic survival needs, most things sold are wants and not needs.

Oh please. The American dream is all but dead.

I keep hearing that from people who obviously dislike us. But I see a very different bit of evidence in our society.

Considering I know many wealthy people and they are all connected to organize crime? I'd say I have enough proof.

Because you know lots of them and they all have connections to organized crime? LMAO!! That may be the weakest argument I have ever seen on here. But, by that same logic, since you know lots of rich people connected to organized crime, then you are also connected to it.

No, I call a man passing down the costs of doing business a businessman. The definition of "profit" is the money that is left after costs and expenses are paid. LOL. Your inverted notions of justice, morality, and fairness are quite amusing.

you personify evil.

Let me know when that whole "barter system" works out for you. Maybe the reptilian hybrids will let you survive long enough to see it.

Now quick, make a "sperm" reference with no relation to reality.

This proves that you have a basic misunderstanding of modern economics. :palm:

Although this is how George Soros made his money, most wealthy people make theirs by creating products that allowed others to work more productively or to purchase goods more cheaply.

Do you think using slave labor created by authoritarian abusive states is an innovation?

No, I call a man passing down the costs of doing business a businessman. The definition of "profit" is the money that is left after costs and expenses are paid. You are just angry that the punative taxes you want are not going to work. And most businesses are not selling something that is a critical requirement for survival. Huh? What is all this garbage you speak?

A socialist business wouldn't have to pass down anything to the consumer. There wouldn't be middle men eating at every aspect of the Business. Transportation, fuel, insurance, mortgage, interest, advertizing and everything else associated with it. Basically all people taking a piece of the pie without working for it that gets passed down to the consumer. That is why a product that costs $1 ends up costing $10 by the time everyone gets their piece of the pie.

I'm pissed because I have to pay $9 extra on everything I buy!

If at least housing(my biggest pet peeve) was cheaper then people would have a lot more money to spend.

They sell anything they get their hands on and try to sell it for as much as they can. Depending on the sucker.

Rich enough to afford it? What nonsense. If they were going to medical school because they were rich, they would start a practice $140,000 in debt. Virtually anyone in the US, with proper effort, can get scholarships to attend a good university. Graduate from there with good grades and you can get into medical school. Who says they are in debt? Most are from wealthy families.

No drama involved. I admitted that some may start into the field looking for money, but I also said I doubt they make it. Most doctors are in it because they genuinely want to help people.

Sorry but the numbers do not agree with you.

I'm happy for Canada. But I was not simply referring to poor people. 80% of the people in the US have some sort of health insurance. They are just as guilty of not taking care of themselves and not getting preventative care. This is not about money but about a culture of instant gratification and instant cures.

What is the number of working people in America? There are currently 47+ million people in America without health Insurance and its growing rapidly with premiums sky rocketing. And many that have insurance have very poor insurance. So your numbers can be deceiving.

And the bottom 50% of tax payers effectively pay little or not taxes at all. They also do not pay their fair share.

I got into this debate on another board and proved that the notion that the rich pay the majority of taxes is in fact a lie. The middle class pay the majority. Rich people have tax deductions for everything.

Who was that famous wealthy new yorker(The lady) That said paying taxes is for poor people?

Though that is another subject.

It is very clear that America is due for a revolution. The question is what will they be steered to revolt against?

I'm surprised the students are not protesting in the streets. They too are having a hard time getting work(even with University diplomas), poverty is increasing in America(due to outsourcing). But hey! This kids are taught from birth that American is the best nation in the world, so go on with your frat parties, drink your alcohol and snort your cocaine(note sarcasm) and pretend like nothing is going on.

They should riot, march into Canada, and take it over.

So transportation, fuel, insurance, mortgage, interest, and advertising are all adding to the price without working for it? Are you that naive?

In order to transport goods, someone has to buy the vehicle, be trained to drive, pay for the maintenance of the vehicle, and buy fuel. None of that should cost at all?

Insurance, mortgage and interest are all because someone else's money is used. You want to use their money and do it for free?

You want people to have more money to spend, but on what?

Who says they are in debt? Most are from wealthy families.

http://www.medrounds.org/medical-news/2009/01/how-much-do-doctors-and-physicians-make.html

The average Dr comes out $140,000 in debt.

Did you settle for comunity college or even go at all?:awesome:

My understanding of modern economic is vast. And I recognize the thievery.

I just posted another post on this subject. Read this.

Also I hear that a doc makes about lets say 250K a year. And if he would have to pay lets say 50K a year? Rather then take it out of his pay and still walk away with 200K. He passes it down to the consumer to cover his incompetent butt.

Can you imagine if we could pass down our expenses? Yet that is capitalism in a nut shell. And you wonder why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

You understand DICK about the economy, you make a couple good points about Dr's gouging. You follow up with a bunch of eutopia fantasy. Are you grind trolling?
