Either way in Syria, it's not our business. If my neighbor is beating his wife, I don't charge in there and fight him. I call the police. The only thing close to world police is the UN and the last I heard, the UN doesn't want to get involved.

Actually, most people in other Countries know a lot more about this than the American people. They are openly screaming at us to wake up and pay attention. But we are so distracted in our busy lives that none of us actually get involved in global politics.

Once you get involved in global politics, you will have a whole different perspective on politics.

All you have to do is provide FACTUAL PROOF that Assad did this. That's it........you can't. Just like Bush couldn't prove WMD's. Just like Romney/Ryan couldn't prove nukes in Iran. It happens over and over and over.

Essentially you are right! If it wasn't for the oil it would have to be for the fall's cabbage crop. That's how ridiculous the whole thing really is.

But notice that if you listen carefully to the news propagandists you now hear the gassing excuses are not standing alone. The excuses of US security are getting in there to bolster the argument. And as always, the promise of no boots on the ground and no military casualties to make it all more palatable to the American people.

That fact that it needs to be bolstered should show everyone how hollow the claims against Assad really are. The US wants war and this time around it's going to rely on trumped up evidence of gas attacks. Next time for Iran it will be something even more entertaining and original.

How sad that the American people continue to be taken in by the lies for war. Iraq taught nothing.

I'm not trying to be "better than you" I don't know you or care about you. I do wish you would open your mind a bit though and stop trusting and coddling the Government like they've never been corrupt.

The only thing that makes me better than you is that I'm not resorting to name calling and other immature actions. But you're pushing it.

Again, show me proof Assad gassed the rebels.

What you fail to accept is that to try to prove Assad is innocent would be just as futile an effort as it was to try to prove that Saddam was not guilty of having the WMD's. But now we know that he didn't even though many on the right in the US continue to try to hang onto the illusion.

We are powerless against the propagandists. But we should have learned from Iraq and in some ways we did and that resistance is present today with this one. I greatly fear that even still after learning the hard way on Iraq that the propagandists will some way win out.

If this war happens then everything I've said good about Obama will make me the fool. I'm still thinking there's a good possibility that it won't and it will be because of the way he manipulated the whole thing.
