Conservatives, who is your current fav. for the Republican presidental nomination?

. You don't have to. But you could say who you like and why, if you want. It was the people who answered that they will like whoever is supported y the TEA Party that I directed my comment toward.

It's been stated a thousand times Counselor; stop acting stupid. Or is tht an act?

Jindhal
Cruz
Paul
Ryan
Etc
Etc
Etc

Bottom line, anyone infinately more qualified that your Hildebeast.

Hitler promoted the return to what in reality was a mythical "Golden Age". He was a Conservative by definition, he promoted a return to what he called "core values". He wanted to exterminate the Jews, because they were not part of what WAS, they were not historical Germans.

Another epically stupid comment. Yeah dunce, that's why it was the Nationalist Socialist Democratic Party; because they we Conservatives.

Damn you're dumb.

You clearly don't know what "Conservative" means. No offense, most don't.

Does it mean "less change" by definition or does it mean "less spending"

I believe in change but also believe in less spending. I guess you could call me an educated conservative.
Thanks for clearing that up. Hey everybody on JPP! If you're having problems with a political concept or definition, anti-party is your go to guy! Just ask him, he'll tell you! Now if I may be permitted to render my humble opinion? Thank you. To me, "change" means "social change", which is nothing but a sack of white noise and wedge issues. The way I see it, the American system is like a locomotive. It's got 2 engineers on board, and the train is headed for a cliff. Both engineers hate each other. One engineer (we'll call him the blue engineer) thinks the train has to go over the cliff as soon as possible. The other engineer (we'll call him the red engineer)also thinks the train has to go over the cliff , but wants to delay the inevitable as long as possible. The blue engineer has the throttle wide open, the red engineer is standing on the brakes. The problem with this arrangement is, every once in a while the red engineer has to let up on the brakes to let them cool off (in case you're not following along with the parable, this is the part where the conservatives start giving in on the stupid social issues). Every election cycle is the same, on the conservative side, there is much weeping and gnashing of teeth over jobs, Obama care (most recently), excessive taxation and the economy in general. And then some idiot in the media asks him "how do you feel about abortion" or "do you think gay people should be allowed to get married?" Or that burning question of the ages: "should pot be legal?". The next day the headlines read, "Sen. conservative is waging a war on women, is against equality in marriage and doesn't want you to smoke pot! (Even though he probably did it in college, and he probably did heroin and cocaine at homosexual orgies too) also unnamed sources have stated that he is probably most definitely a racist and he hasn't paid his taxes in 25 years. At this point, I have to paraphrase the hilldebeast of Benghazi: "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?" The train is going to go over a cliff, and I'm voting for the guy who is stomping on the brakes the hardest.

I see, so the name he chose for his party is what defines it. If you call your dick a vagina, does that make it a pussy?

The Mission District in San Francisco is a famous neighborhood known for its Hispanic culture and its progressive politics. It's liberal even by San Francisco standards. It's been going through gentrification as more young rich and white tech workers have been moving into the neighborhood. Activists in the neighborhood have been fighting this gentrification and the evictions of poorer residents as those with more money move in. So by definition all these so-called progressives are actually conservatives.

The election is almost three years away. One doesn't have to have a favorite right now. I'm a Republican and have no idea who I will support. That's the whole point of having a primary. Why do I need to know who I support right now?
So we can raz you about how fucked up your candidate is. :)

It ain't going to be her, so you won't vote?

Pretty much. I didn't vote in the Presidential last year either. Why should 2016 be any different?

Not casting a vote is as much of a vote as casting one. Actually I wrote in a candidate. I will do so again if I am not satisfied with the choices.

But shouldn't you be concerning yourself with your own democrat party primary? Or are you that certain that Her Thighness is a lock like she was in 2008?

I would absolutely love Sarah Palin to be in the White House. My God, think of it: Respect for life, correct laws being enforced, Christianity at the forefront of a Christian Society!! What's not to love?

Amen bro. And you know she is the perfect candidate because both the establishment GOP and left wingers hate her

I believe in change but also believe in less spending. I guess you could call me an educated conservative.

If you were any kind of conservative at all, you'd understand that "change" and "less spending" are not mutually exclusive, and that less spending would in itself be change.

Stop it. Your side is always talking about the 1950s tax code. Are you going to play stupid?

Never discussed is the flip side (I wonder if kids understand that expression anymore?), which was the spending code, which was scaled way back to pay off the war debt.

Paying off debt. What a novel concept.
