Nobody would. It would go against human nature. But there are plenty of people who are so concerned about the poor lower class that they spend a whole 15 mins of their day ranting about how the government should make other people give their money to them. I realize it's a complicated issue, but don't tell me you believe the needs of society are greater than the needs of the individual if you are a multimillionaire. Not if you want me to view anything else you say with any credibility. The rich white privileged 1 percent likewise donate to charity for tax write off and p r.

Yes, they give for the tax break and much of the time for pr. But they give.
The constitution does not authorize welfare so there us no reason to support that.
If liberals feel the need to aid the needy there is no shortage of opportunities in any manner that appeals to them and best of all, more of every dollar reache's the intended. Or all of any work or time. A little research will point you to organizations with minimal overhead. Giving money to the government is pure overhead.
I don't mind explaining myself but do not assume I require your approval. You certainly do not require mine.

Don't expect much discussion here. They greatly prefer pissing contests.

I'm confused now what your position on it is? I agreed with your last comment, so what are we arguing about? And that's unfortunate, I love debating this kind of stuff and hate pissing contests

Many members here have no interest in discussion. They are unable to justify their positions which frustrates them so they call names and wander off.
It's top bad. There are lefties who are capable but I think if there ever were such ones here they tired of the nonsense and left.
Just sayin to realize that this place is what it is.
