Conservatives' Message: Character Doesn't Matter

I'm not sure what's so hard to believe about it. He's been making big budget movies for 30 years and who knows what he was invested in
 
I'd love for you to try and tell me. That is the purpose of a forum like this. Not resorting to making jest without any counterargument

you stated that freeman gave 480 million dollars to his ex-wife, when he could have given every man, woman, and child a million dollars. wheres your math for that?
 
I do see your point about the math. I retract that part of it. Larger principle, still applies. For all I know, he may donate huge amounts of money to charity. But, we never point to the largely liberal entertainment industry as being the one percent, only wall Street and business ceo's. Which I guess I take greater issue with than I might otherwise, simply because of the hypocrisy. Business ceo's don't pretend to be anything but greedy, so it's consistent for them to fight against giving their money away. Entertainers and other rich liberals are just as greedy but put on a front that other people besides them should stop being greedy

You may want to rethink your view of business people and charity. Not all of course but quite a lot of them are quite generous with charities. It's good business.

Of course what charities can be a mixed bag. I know quite a lot who give loads to conservation. The arts are generally looked after as well.

I know fewer celebrities so I won't attempt to speak for them.

Granted. But I'm not talking about nominal donations for tax benefits. I'm talking about giving until they are no longer rich. If the needs of society are greater than the idividuals, why not? My point is that being liberal, much like being religious, is alot easier to talk about than actually live by. I'm not saying all are insincere, but anyone who doesn't see the hypocrisy much of the idealogical is built on, is trying awful hard not to see it.
