Thank god for second amendment rights and the NRA.
Charlie Kirk himself noted that because of the Second AMendment we would have to just put up with a number of gun murders. To him it was a fair deal for the benefit of the Second Amendment. I bet his wife and children have a somewhat different opinion now.

I seriously doubt if there is a "next war"...and if it involves the countries that it almost certainly will involved...that there will be YEARS of war.
A nuclear exchange will happen...and will probably happen soon after "war" is seen to be inevitable. The exchange will be enormous...and EVERY country participating will be damaged in ways that form the basis for Armageddon science fiction novels. There won't be "years" left to finish the job...there may not even be enough people left to finish it.
We should stop searching for intelligent life on other planets...and seek intelligent life here on Earth.

Another technique which would work wonders is scanning the internet for anyone advocating political assassinations, and arresting them, holding them for as long as possible, prosecuting them for inciting violence, and after conviction, give them the longest possible sentence.

Name one liberal/democrat/progressive/Marxist/socialist position that is logical, or for that matter, name one position of the radical left that
is moral or pro American.
Another consideration when setting up a Conservative speaking venue, is making sure that the speaker is blocked from view from all but the audience side, and then with less than a 180 angle. Any shooter firing from that side, would have his fire, hit or miss, not continue on into the audience. Make the back drop of the stage out of something that will absorb shots, and block them traveling onward.
This would also limit the areas of roof-top that would have to be secured during the event to just those on the Audience side of the Speaking Stage.
Furthermore, providing some mechanism which the audience members could used as emergency cover, such as Jersey-barriers every few rows of seating, would be a wise precaution. They can simply look over the top of the barrier to view the speaker, but at need they can duck behind them.

If you spot someone on a roof top at a Conservative Public Event, where they should not be, and report it. If it turns out to be a shooter, you get a $10K reward.
This would encourage a whole host of "Bounty Hunters" to show up to events, and scan the perimeters for shooters, even if no shooters are found.
IAW, use Capitalism to fight the Lefties. I would get a real kick out seeing that system defeat a few assailants.
