35% is the "tariff" that we now inflict on US corporations, and it seems to have worked nicely to curtail jobs here in the US. So in theory it should work just as well for our overseas trading partners. :)

If a product costs $1.00 to produce in the U.S. and $.10 to produce using slave labor then there would be a $.90 tariff on that product. This protects American workers against communist and Republicon slave labor.

It's not that tough to understand unless you are from the south.

Even IF your cockamamie bullshit were absolutely true and accurate, and protectionism was the way to go... it should be painfully obvious to even someone with your mental capacity, that just isn't ever going to happen. You're never going to realize such an objective, unless we have nuclear war which leaves you as our Imperator! Even in that case, we could probably find a better qualified cockroach... or Keith Richards! So.... safe to say, this will never happen in the reality which we live in.

Now... while we are chasing this impossible dream of yours, we will indeed create more jobs in America, very cheap and menial, hard working, production line type jobs, that most people do not really "enjoy" doing. So, in order to actually get them to, you have to pay them much more to do the same work... so the cost of producing your product has just gone completely through the roof. The same has happened to your competition, so prices will begin to rise, to reflect this increase in cost. I don't know if you are still keeping up or not, but rising prices and lower wage jobs, doesn't sound great for the economy. Higher wage jobs and lower consumer prices would be a lot better for Americans.

I know you are programed to hate Trade, but Trade is a tremendous bargaining tool when it comes to world diplomacy. North Korea is China's little bitch on a chain, and the whole world knows this. Now here is a country with an absolute nut... no, correct that, incompetent SON of a NUT... with his finger on the Big Red Button! China certainly doesn't want the little maniac to blow something over there up and turn it radioactive for 9,999 years... so they are somewhat motivated to keep them in check. We have trade alliances with China, which also leverages them to remain friendly toward Taiwan. Going with your insanity, we pull the plug on this, and the whole world changes for millions of people elsewhere... do you care about that?

Americans aren't afraid of hard work. And we will also keep higher paying jobs too as the planning and management will also be required to go along with these production jobs.

But that money is kept in our economy and trickles down and recirculates and is reinvested. Trade deficits are a one way dangerous money suck of wealth from our society. They should be corrected for the health of the entire nation.

A tariff is a fee on imported goods. Goods produced here would not be subject to this, so there would be more production jobs here, in accordance with the rules of markets. This is basic stuff, jizzbox.
