I'm still chuckling about you calling me a "wishy washy moral relativist lib" when looking at your title for this thread.

I don't live in China. Are you retarded, or just a lousy musician?
35% is the "tariff" that we now inflict on US corporations, and it seems to have worked nicely to curtail jobs here in the US. So in theory it should work just as well for our overseas trading partners. It sounds like a start. I dont have all the numbers off hand. It may not be enough, but im not really sure. Where did you get 35%? The ass file?
You mean you haven't read an opinion of mine that you agree with. So in predictable liberal fashion, that makes it "unintelligent". LOLI've never read an intelligent opinion from you. You bring nothing but what faux tells you to bring. Learn to play and instrument and forget about politics.
Oh what percent tariff? Whatever it takes to bring back jobs in all sectors.
Im glad you're convinced on protectionism in general, and are getting to the details though. This is encouraging.

You mean FNC? Haven't watched it in months.
I suggest that you learn to be productive instead of pretending to be a musician. How much money have you amassed playing in that stupid garage band?

Even IF your cockamamie bullshit were absolutely true and accurate, and protectionism was the way to go... it should be painfully obvious to even someone with your mental capacity, that just isn't ever going to happen.
It is going to happen. Damn Yankee is on board, and he's already wondering about the details. Crashk is on board. Other notables are on board. You're never going to realize such an objective, unless we have nuclear war which leaves you as our Imperator! Even in that case, we could probably find a better qualified cockroach... or Keith Richards! So.... safe to say, this will never happen in the reality which we live in.
Americans aren't afraid of hard work. And we will also keep higher paying jobs too as the planning and management will also be required to go along with these production jobs.Now... while we are chasing this impossible dream of yours, we will indeed create more jobs in America, very cheap and menial, hard working, production line type jobs, that most people do not really "enjoy" doing.
But that money is kept in our economy and trickles down and recirculates and is reinvested. Trade deficits are a one way dangerous money suck of wealth from our society. They should be corrected for the health of the entire nation. So, in order to actually get them to, you have to pay them much more to do the same work... so the cost of producing your product has just gone completely through the roof.
No matter how low prices get, you still cannot afford to live when your job is outsourced. I say it's better to have jobs than no jobs. your paradigm is inherently elitist. The same has happened to your competition, so prices will begin to rise, to reflect this increase in cost. I don't know if you are still keeping up or not, but rising prices and lower wage jobs, doesn't sound great for the economy. Higher wage jobs and lower consumer prices would be a lot better for Americans.
I know you are programed to hate Trade, but Trade is a tremendous bargaining tool when it comes to world diplomacy. North Korea is China's little bitch on a chain, and the whole world knows this. Now here is a country with an absolute nut... no, correct that, incompetent SON of a NUT... with his finger on the Big Red Button! China certainly doesn't want the little maniac to blow something over there up and turn it radioactive for 9,999 years... so they are somewhat motivated to keep them in check. We have trade alliances with China, which also leverages them to remain friendly toward Taiwan. Going with your insanity, we pull the plug on this, and the whole world changes for millions of people elsewhere... do you care about that?

AssClown: But that money is kept in our economy and trickles down and recirculates and isreinvestedworth less and less.
Fixed that for ya!![]()
Wow... talk about a coalition!![]()
Cruelty is vastly underrated. So instead of having an actual good argument, you've decided to be cruel. Why is that? Is it because all your neocon ideas suck?
It is, essentially, which is why i put the word in quotes. Are you talking about corporate tax? That's not a tariff. are you retarded?
You're the one too afraid to create your own trade policy because of what others may think. That's so weak.
No. a tax is not essentially a tariff. Their essences are disparate. It is, essentially, which is why i put the word in quotes.
Care to address the issue? You propose a tariff, which is a tax, to curtail foreign jobs, yet you don't recognize that a tax on corporations curtails jobs here.
Methinks you might be retarded.![]()
What? You know what my policy is: Free Fucking Trade, unless its a monopoly then tariff the hell out of them.
