Truth is White Christians in New York are mostly Trump supporters, especially in 2016 before it was apparent that Trump didn't do sh\t but run his mouth, divide America & destroy the environment.
But, having lived here my life.

Where I grew up was mostly Republican Italians & Irish Catholics.
The Italians in particular were extremely prejudiced in Putnam Lake, NY.
In the 2000s Millennial Italian skateboarders started a riot against a Black Jamaican, hurling racial slurs, rocks, bottles & bottle rockets at him.
Seen the same Jamaican attacked for no reason by an Italian Millennial.
Saw near 2010 another Italian Millennial attack another Black guy for no reason.
The kids there called bad things Gay or Jewish they made jokes about Ugly N*ggers & Holocaust ash tray Jews, and dirty M3xicans, and Spycs.
Not to mention dumb Polak jokes.
It wasn't a tolerant or peaceful place.

PS State flags are different; a state's citizens are free to change their flag however complies with any regs on it. After watching my two Senator and House Representatives grovel under Trump for four years, we should add a yellow streak to it.
