It has been said Iran was ready to give up the close to nuclear uranium they had in a peace pact. Trump did not want peace. He wants this war. He asked for 200 billion to fight it. That is money for a long war, one that he planned.

So i ask you again, 'what does "obliterate" mean if mere weeks later they are a week away from being able to attack America with a nuke?

If it was in fact, "obliterated" as you say and mere weeks later they have not only reconstituted it but are closer to launch (a week away) then any intelligence prior to the "obliteration" said they were, is not "obliteration" meaningless?

Does not Trump have to tell the American people, "We can obliterate their program but they can have it back up in weeks, and because of that we must be prepared, as a Nation, to go back and obliterate and devastate them every few weeks. As such i am asking Congress for a rolling $200B constant military budget refresh".

Iran has put satellites with live animals into space and recovered them alive. The technology is very similar to ICBM technology. They don't need an arsenal they only need one and a nuke. A nuke in the middle of DC or NYC would send our economy into a tail spin.

Iran says they have 480kg of 60% U235. Nuclear experts tell us 60% U235 can be enriched to 95% U235 in 10-14 days. In the entire history of the world no country has enriched to 60% U235 and not produced nuclear bombs. Would you rather Iran get nukes and Trump be wrong about obliterating Iran's nuclear program?

it is about as stupid a rationalization as i have heard which is no surprise coming from Fastlane.

Too bad the US military intel did not agree with your assessments about the 'imminency" of any threat Iran posed.

You can make up 'hypothetical' threats all day long as any good NeoCon would, for doing endless wars. As we know Neocons can tell us about hypothetical threats (and not be wrong as there are endless hypothetical threats) all around the world and why the US must be engaged in endless wars to preemptively deal with them all.

Iran has been killing Americans for 47 years. They have attempted to kill a Presidential candidate. They have tried to kill American citizens in the US. I think that qualifies as a threat.

"obliterated" should matter. You sure focus on it and defend it as being done and accurate.

If you obliterate another countries guns, you should be confident they have no guns to threaten you with.

If you obliterate a countries missile delivery systems you should be confident they have no missiles to deliver weapons pay loads against you.

You are saying 'there are countries who within the next 10 years could obtain weapons to threaten the US and therefore the US should take the role of the Worlds policeman and preemptively wage war against them to stop that hypothetical threat'.

If we cannot trust both Trump and Netanyahu saying the Iran nuclear was obliterated beyond being any threat to the world for MANY YEARS, and then when they attack again mere weeks later claiming 'Iran was days away from being able to nuke the US', everyone, and i mean EVERYONE should question the words Trump and Netanyahu are using to sell these actions.

For instance, even now you still insist it was obliterated while saying 'they became such a threat again weeks later we must go to war to stop them'.

People like you, Trump and Netanyahu need to be ignored in these discussions if you are going to double speak like that and thus have ZERO credibility.

I'm saying if those countries are killing hundreds of Americans and chant death to America and are making the weapons of mass destruction. Yeah I think it is smart to strike them now while the are at their weakest. Iran is building 200 ballistic missiles a month. Think how much harder it would be to stop them 10 years from now.
