Comey's gift to the smug "we know the electorate better than you do" crowd

And why does anyone care about this?

Trump's election was an anomoly. There are no new coalitions, no shifting demographics. He'll face a stronger candidate than Hillary next time, and I doubt his likeability is going to change.

your assesment is republican voters came home and democrats stayed home.Data shows your wrong.

agreed. this is no mandate.
It was a turnout/base election. What I don't really agree with is Comey turned it, It's hard to say
but the late breakers were all going for Trump even before the last Comey eruption

Winning the presidency, the House, the Senate and a majority of Governorship's seems like a mandate to me.....

Hillary and the left will still blame everyone and everything but themselves.....par for the course....

Comey's testimony under oath before Congress, I think was a turning point....admitting under oath her offenses and not following through told everyone
there was double standard at play and folks just didn't take to that shit.

no point in debating the minutia, late breakers went Trump. there were probably multiple reasons.
Bernie could have won i'm sure. The DNC slit it's own throat "It's a rigged game" ( Bernie)

Free shit Bernie and Bullshit Hillary ?.....neither was gonna make it.....

Nope. It sure doesn't.

After languishing in the 70's and 80's for much of the campaign, Trump ended up taking 90% of the GOP vote. Most of the gap broke for him in the last week.

African American turnout was down, as was turnout among registered Democrats in general.

I know you desperately want to read more into this election. A shifting tide, better demographics, etc. Hillary was just a bad candidate. Unlikely to happen again.

i already showed you according to exit polls how a major block of people who usually vote democrat voted for trump. Could it be a one off thing? Sure. But its what happened this election. Deny it if you wish.

yes but look at the counties. Counties that obama won by double digits went for trump. This happened all over the map. Dem voters did not stay home. They defected. Look at evan mcmullin in utah and the number of write ins all over the map. GOP did not come home they wrote third party in.

If you look at it you will see much lower winning % in some key GOP states. Some dem voters mainly minorities and young people did stay home yes.

The map will show you the right lessons. Look beyond state level.

putin tampered asshole

Yours was a generalization; mine was actual #'s. Trump got 90% of the GOP vote.

=___= did you not catch that i posted stats too? Much deeper stats than just party affiliation?

When the only point is that REPUBLICANS came home, and DEMOCRATS stayed home - well, party affiliation is the ONLY thing that matters in that discussion.

Sorry.
