Comey testimony, Alright, let's take bets now

Looks like you're going to come up short on the obstruction charge; and it's official now---Trump is not under investigation. Just like he claimed. Had Comey just gone public with that, he'd still have his job.

Where's your next best hope?

You don't know from shit whether Comey would still have his job had he gone public.

I do love that Comey went public with calling Orangetweet a liar.

this slavish adherence to the sanctity of an FBI investigation . did cost him his job -and Comey wanted that job
( since Comey is the 'Truth and the Light' of the otherwise Swamp in his mind)

I mean this is or is not an FBI investigation of a sitting POTUS -don't you think the public has a right to know?

Instead Comey gets fired and butt-hurt an of course is going to get even.

But POTUS isn't under an investigation, there is no Russian collusion..is the take away as much as the Dems
are now flailing around trying to make it about Flynn

I'd like to hear Comey's justification for not telling the public that Trump wasn't investigation.

I'd like to hear Comey's justification for not telling the public that Trump wasn't investigation.

Why would he need to justify it? Why would he need to reveal it?

Great that he did reveal Trump as a liar today. Even though it was not truly a revelation.

It's a real he said/she said on the lies.

Who has more credibility? A classic boy scout who has probably never lied in his life, or a pathological liar who a WaPo study listed over 100 lies in his campaign alone?

Personally, I'm revelling in the joy of seeing Trump made to look like a complete bumbling idiot in front of the nation and the world.

Even if charges of obstruction don't come out of this, which was unlikely to begin with given that the Repugnants control the process, Trump's image and support amongst the American public and members of both parties in Congress, will be irreparably damaged.

It has become undeniably obvious that Trump is an incompetent sleazeball.

Scoreboard check

Trump 305
Liberals 226

NEXT

lolololol

Soooo, Comey is a perjurer, in addition to being a wuss, and a snitch.

Can it really get any worse for the liberal cause here?
NOOO

lolololol

some oddball alliegance to some obscure FBI thing.
I mean this is NOT some ordinary (non)investigation of some Joe Blow official.
And then he goes and tell Trump anyways? -that's illogical

Chances are if he just would have said that none of this would have happened.

And I do not see any direct order/corruption about flynn. Put in context Flynn was just fired the day before.
And if Comey's Boy Scout persona was so butt-hurt -why didn't he say something earlier, or to POTUS right then?

and this matters why?

seriously dude, are you really this desperate and goofy.

This constant trolling threads is maybe the saddest thing next to a Hillary presidential run

What an idiotic question.

The media and Trump's critics were using a mixture of air and conjecture to tie Trump to the Russia investigation; and doing so for cynical political purposes. That Comey would sit on the knowledge that Trump wasn't a subject of investigation can only mean two things:

A) he's stupid
Or
B) he had an agenda.

Pick one.

Why does the truth matter?

Yikes.

Your posts tend to be somewhat worthless. Stick to reminding people about the electoral vote on any issue.

Excuse me, idiot.... what Comey said was that Trump was not under investigation by the FBI back when Trump asked him about it.

That does not mean that the Special Counsel is not investigating him now.

Good Lord, you're stupid.

I made a few notes as the hearing went on.........

Trump did not ask Comey to stop Russia probe.

Trump said if any of his associates were involved with Russian collusion, it would "be good to find that out."

Mueller needs to decide if Trump obstructed justice.

People aren't charged with a crime for "hoping."

Trump did not order Comey to let Flynn go.

Comey thought that "hoping" meant a direct order.

Comey said "I 'hope' there are tapes of Trump meetings". (So, is THAT a directive?)

Comey acknowledged that a President has the authority to order an investigation to be stopped.

Trump not under investigation...NYT lied

McCain???????????????? Troubling

Rubio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Excellent

Comey has comprehension problems with basic English grammar and what words mean. He doesn't seem to know the difference between a declaration or personal 'hope' and a directive.

Comey's reply to a past Trump question, "I'll see what we can do" when he REALLY meant "no" regarding lifting the cloud. (Clearly as Comey said, "He was acting cowardly" when answering that way.)

My prediction on all this, trump did not knowingly work with the Russians, his shady "satellites" of the likes of bannon carter and that campaign manager were tricked by the Russians into some shit

Flynn got caught up in in it but I do not think he had anti American reasons for it

Trump is not smart enough to understand all that stuff that was going on and was most likely kept in the dark on purpose

He was just trying to get it swept under the rug because he cares more about his agenda than he does about the bigger issue the Russia stuff poses to our country

Yes asking comey for loyalty is bad but it was only because he knew having the Russian cloud would indeed hinder his ability to pass bills for his agenda

I dont like trump but my guess nothing is going to come of this.,, I hope as a country we can find a way to prevent Russia from influencing our elections

What really bothered me today was the part about lynch telling comey to call the Clinton thing a matter as opposed to an investigation

Cannot believe I on the trump side on this one but going with simply my logic this is where I am at right now
