I saw where Chris Matthews declared the Russian conspiracy dead after yesterday. Mostly, in his opinion, because Trump encouraged[!] Comey to investigate Flynn and Manafort---and if Comey found anything, to charge them so Trump could put the issue behind him.
That doesn't sound like a man with Russians hiding in his closet.
That's a good point about Comey---and how he acquiesced for Lynch, but not for his boss. There is plenty of evidence of collusion to be looked at by Mueller. But it has nothing to do with Trump and Russia.
Did Comey collude with Lynch and/or the Clinton's after the tarmac meeting? It's a fact, that the MSM and the DNC colluded during the debates. That's not illegal but it's collusion. Neither is it illegal for the media to collude with the left on the Russian theory.

I won't argue with that.
That said, Rubio's comment about 'the only thing not leaked was that Trump wasn't a subject of investigation' was instructional and tells me he knows this thing goes beyond the usual Party bickering.
It's easy to call it a great zinger and leave it at that, but it was a direct stab at the Deep State. Actually, whether it's an organized Deep State or an over-population of political hacks is irrelevant.
The point is Rubio outed them. So much has been leaked about the investigation that I doubt much of it remains classified at this point.
EXCEPT, the one leak that would exonerate Trump. The media is against him, democrats are 100% against him, people in his own party are against him---and, Trump has the proverbial enemy within against him.
