huh...i know the royal families were into the incest thing and it turned out very bad for them....hence why they no longer practice it....so far as i know...

Again, it doesn't matter if she is his spawn, she is an adult. If it is a crime, then it is a crime for both of them. One is not the victim of a consensual action once one becomes an adult. I don't care if she is his spawn. (Of course the story doesn't say that, only that it is incest.)

It's a pretty discreet thing but think about it. With decreasing bloodlines, and rules about who they can and cannot marry... I mean it's a genetic bottleneck. They don't really have a lot of options and if you take a close look at their current family trees you'll see a lot of intermingling.

then....do you not support superior officers being charged with having sexual relations with subordinate officers?
 
I don't see how an incest charge could have standing unless he knew she was a relative and did not tell her; or perhaps if she is mentally incompetent to know what she was doing; or if she was emotionally unstable and he knew that and took advantage.
