I'm all for legalization, but why do we need to tax every god damned thing that people enjoy?
Because people in the grass roots of the movement like me, and the much more knowledgable evince know that must be given up to get the prohibition ended. A lesser of two evils if you will.![]()
let them tax it out of prohibition first then we can fight to lower the taxes.

Dude, if we had medical mj I'd camp out the night before like it was a video game to get it.

The California Democratic legislators are salivating to tax it, something like 50 percent.
THis is a good move and an important step toward legalization.
it's a ridiculously stupid move and anyone with intelligence can see that. Once you let government get their commerce mitts on something, they refuse to let go. You let them tax it and start making money off of it, they will not stop. It will never be brought back to what it should be, which is not allowing them any authority to even touch it, much less regulate it.
