Clock is ticking down... All Dems can do is HATE!

And I am betting you probably don't attend church regularly.

My point is made... thanks! :good4u:

I have had long stretches in my life where I attended church regularly & held the same views. I go to a local church now once in awhile; it doesn't do the whole fire & brimstone on the issues you mentioned like your church probably does.

It might interest you that there is a whole new wave of Christian leaders who thinks that religion should stay out of politics and away from most of the issues you mentioned, and instead focus on things like promoting peace & environmentalism.

Why don't you show the studies to disprove my point?
Cause I'm not asserting a point. You are. If you want your point to have credibility then please show us the data. If you don't, well then you don't and I think we can all draw our own conclusions from that Dixie.

As far as the church-goers and morals go, it's difficult to take them seriously. The bible belt are the biggest users of porn and have very high teenage pregnancy and divorce rates.

I'll tell ya, its hard for me to take it at all seriously, when the most far right religious evangelical I know, and boy does she preach it to others, was pregnant herself as a teen. I mean, okay that's not that big of a deal, just the usual hypocrisy, but what kids she raised. Holy. Her son really hates women and constantly refers to them as the c-word, whores, bitches, and sluts. Well, he calls her that stuff too. He's on drugs, he impregnanted a girl at 18, he is extremely promiscuous, he's a drunk...

I mean, you know, if that's the moral life boy am I glad my mom and dad weren't no good! LOL

Probably some, but I don't think all are. I think people definitely act differently with anonymity than they would in person.

But no question that some are...

I think so too. I think that we'd all be surprised at some of the people we would like in real life, but probably not at all surprised at some that we would just shake our heads over and get away from as fast as possible.

Do you really think that people who are assholes on message boards are assholes in real life too? I've often wondered about that.
I can only base that on my own personal experiences and the feed back I get from most of my friends and family is that, yes indeed I am an asshole. So on that limited and anecdotal basis I must say "Yes". :)

Idiots can always draw whatever conclusions they like. Doesn't matter if I presented studies or not. In fact, I bet that whatever study I showed you, it would be met with some criticism by you, and you'd never agree that the study proves my point... which isn't really a "point" but a self-evident fact.

Quote one and let's see.
