We were sent here to decide which side we want to be on. Epicurus was just some asshole who hated the idea of a Supreme Being expecting something from him.

Was Epicurus willing to stop being evil, but not able? Then he long since made a decision to be evil and would've never reversed course. Was he able, but not willing? Then he was no different than any other self adoring asshole. Was he both able and willing? Probably, but he neither had the time, nor the inclination to do that, as he was much too busy being evil. Was he neither able nor willing? No, because then he wouldn't have existed in the first place.

OK Sear, do your thing. I thought you were serious about matters concerning your OP. You just want to have a typical conversation about human thoughts and human opinions. You do not desire the actual Word of God applied to questions regarding the Word of God. Your agenda is set.

You argue and resist the Word. You enjoy making vain, empty "intellectual" sounding rebuttals.

This has always been the way of the world, nothing new here...creation is wiser than the creator. Satan and all the proud and boastful have and will always set themselves up as superior to the very One who created them...there is no good end for those such as these. Your arms are too short to box with God.

You're saying Epicurus never existed?

Well I'm saying the nature of God isn't defined by human beings; especially human beings that are self adoring assholes. The best way to approach any supreme being is through some form of prayer. Want to know how God works? Just ask Him. ;)
