Well, I have said many times that I thing the only reason righties like an incompetent buffoon like Trump is because he drives liberals crazy. So I agree on the latter.

The economy is doing somewhat better, but the market had tripled by the time Obama left office, and we were almost at full employment at that point.

That reason the market numbers increased under The Obama was that he devalued the dollar so much by "quantitative easing". Values didn't really increase- prices did.

Or, it could have been the record string of consecutive quarters w/ growth, and taking the economy from the brink of Depression to almost full employment.

Could have been that. Because, you know - those investors know stuff.

and yet unemployment is at a 16 year low......guess that encompasses a couple of previous presidents......one who did pretty well from 2000 to 2008 and one who really sucked from 2009 to 2016.....

Bush: Recession was ending, $10T in debt, unemployment at highest level during his eight years......a number his successor couldn't match until his 6th year in office.......
Obama: $20T in debt, took him seven years to get employment back to what it was when he was elected, record numbers on food stamps, health industry on life support.......
