Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says he does not want to be White House chief of staff, just hours after multiple reports said he was President Trump's leading choice for the job.

Christie met with Trump Thursday night about the White House chief of staff job and was considered a "top contender" for the role, sources told NBC News earlier Friday.
Christie's candidacy was being boosted both publicly and privately by South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, a source told NBC.

The Kushners were the ones that wanted to get rid of Kelly to begin with, because he limited their access to the Oval Office.
It was personal!
If there was no reason for them to be in the Oval Office- Kelly asked them to leave- and they were not invited in unless they had business there- and that rule was for everybody in the West Wing.
But, Chris Christie was never going to be a good choice, as Chris Christie was a major player in Prosecuting Jared Kushner's daddy and sending him to prison.
So that would have went over like a dog turd in the White House Punch Bowl!
