China seizes US drone early this week....
Obama files objection....
US gets no answer...
Donald tweets this morning that "China steals United States Navy research drone in international waters - rips it out of water and takes it to China in unprecedented act."....
China announces a few hours later that Chinese authorities had decided to return it, but criticized the US for having "hyped up" the issue......

obviously Donald had no influence on their decision......just sayin'.......

You mean "unpresidented" attack.

trump just insulted China with that phone call to Taiwan's president. Only a dummy thinks China would do nothing in return.

They're only making this harder on themselves. He can use their antics as pretexts to take actions that he wanted to all along. Best historical example is when the French crown seized vast English holdings as "punishment" for a social offense that King John committed. This is what led to Magna Carta and centuries of mythology about him being a villain.

Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia and Brunei feel pretty insulted by the way the Chinese are militarising the Spratly and Paracel islands.

a small Chinese boat sidled up to a United States Navy research vessel in waters off the Philippines and audaciously seized an underwater drone from American sailors

Our President did the only thing he could do as a response to China's act of piracy.....

Go on vacation to Hawaii on the taxpayers dime....
 
China is playing for keeps in the South China Sea,and east China sea.
They are militarizing dredge islands in attempt to commandeer resources - and control international shipping lanes.

forget Russia,as a matter of fact spliting Russia from China ( like Nixon did when he split China from Russia) is in the best interests
of the US.
So quit wit the anti-Russian hysteria and focus on the real upcoming threat

I'm sorry that you feel like you have to marginalize the Russian hack to protect your hero. But it's a big deal.
