Oh, you're a low, evil bitch, you are. How outrageous. To rationalize slavery as a means for blacks to become "permanent victims", in which they can wallow in pity, for the wrong done to them, and for whites to absolve themselves of any responsibility. Outrageous. Insult to injury, of the first order.
I will not compare any average black person's life in America to an imagined average black person in Africa. To let you off the proverbial "hook"? Bitch ( and I say that in the worst possible way), you don't know me. You can't speculate on what my life might have been if my ancestors hadn't been stolen from their land. Your ancestors didn't have the right or any vestige of morality to do what they did. And since you applied an appropriate metaphor, "original sin", you know that it is a sin, one is born "into", and must be remedied with Baptism, with "water" or "fire", none of which, America (and by that I mean "white America") has surrendered to. So, you, "collectively", are "damned", until you are baptized, at which you "balk".
I am thankful I am here...but not for the reasons you imagine. I'm here, because a Higher Power deemed I should be here, as that same Higher Power deemed you should be here. Not beholden to some mythical figure of a white man, who stole my people, with the intent of giving them a "better life". What was given was a "special kind of Hell", which you, apparently, are not ashamed of. And when you speak of ignorance and bitterness, you must be looking in the mirror in your bathroom, as it is looking back at you.
