White Europeans migrating across Europe is hardly colonialism, and the issue of racism wasn't NEARLY as stark. Regardless, it ain't like Ukraine, Estonia, and the Czech Republic are doing THAT great.

Finally, Africa suffered from a lack of arable land for much of its precolonial period, and it did not have the millennia of trade/crop rotation opportunities they had in the latitudinal commonalities of Eurasia.
