Cars Without Borders: Does “Made in America” Really Matter Anymore?

translation:

my points have been proven wrong by multiple people, so i will continue spinning and spreading meadow muffins

and you have not proved a thing.

Keep justifying Yurt. You'll get a good nights sleep, I am sure. Thanks to worms like you, 16% of the country is still out of work. Go fuck your self.

By the way, multiple people disagreeing doesn't make them right.

If only you were smart enough to translate for me. What an egomaniac you are.

You are the one spinning Yurtard. I clearly proved that buying a japanese car hurts the U.S. economy. As I said earlier, you are still trying to justify your selfish act.

Don't bother trying to tell me what I think either moron. How utterly presumtuous and arrogant.
No, you haven't proven that at all. You provided a wikipedia link.

Actually it's thanks to people like you, who demand that Americans buy shittier products. Because if we keep making shit, we won't be able to compete globally, and we'll still lose jobs when no one else buys our shit. Good job.

We do make good products here. That is where your post falls apart.

Yeah, how dare someone be arrogent or pretentious....
Your too young to understand.

If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand.

Not dodging, just couldn't be bothered. Globalism is bullshit, but I could never convince you of that.
Oh, wait....

Pot, meet kettle.

ABOUT 8.5 million cars and light trucks were assembled in the United States last year, but only about five million of those were made by the automakers traditionally known as the Big Three. More than three million of the vehicles assembled in American plants were built by autoworkers employed by foreign brands like BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota.

So now the unemployment is the fault of people who look for the best bargain and buy what suits them? Can you spew any more bullshit?

People like him? Not the real estate bubble or subprime mortgages. Not the banks and Wall Street. Not a couple of decades of piss poor economic policy. But it is the fault of people like Yurt?

Enough buying customers certainly don't think so. I certainly don't think so, apart from Ford. I'd sooner walk then drive a GM or Chrysler product again.

Ironic, of the big 3, Ford is the one who opted out of government loans. You are a partisan hack who puts ideology ahead of the American worker.

Ford stayed afloat without a bailout. That shows far better mgmt than the other two. Conservative ideology puts a high premium on being fiscally responsible.

Why would you back a company that needs loans to stay afloat?

No, conservative ideology is a form of domestic terrorism; PUNISH, and if that doesn't work, PUNISH MORE SEVERELY. There is not a business in America that doesn't rely on loans. The auto manufacturers were not responsible for the economic meltdown that caused plummeting sales...Wall Street was. Japan subsidizes their auto manufactures, we offered loans. Look up the word LOAN...

If the domestic auto manufacturers had been allowed to collapse, it would have been a HUGE disaster. 3 million jobs would have been eviscerated and all those workers would have moved from productive tax payers to the public dole. The foreign manufacturers in the US would have been hurt just as severely, because it would have wiped out all the sub industries that supply BOTH groups of manufacturers. From the OP: "Honda Accord made and assembled in America has 80% U.S.-sourced parts"

If you would care to point out where I said the other two auto makers should not have been bailed out, your reply would make sense. Since I didn't, it doesn't.
But why would you look down on Ford for NOT taking loans?

And spare me the nonsense about "punish and punish more". The libs have punished businesses as much as any group around. So play partisan politics all you want. Just expect to be called on bullshit.

Don't try to pull your bullshit on me. I didn't look down on Ford. YOU are the one who looked down on GM and Chrysler:
"Why would you back a company that needs loans to stay afloat?"

So why make this remark? You obviously back GM & Chrysler over Ford, despite the fact that Ford is obviously a better run company.
