When Kennedy's speaking ability was questioned the first thing you did was attack Bush. Seems like a defensive manuver. I have books making fun of Bush and how bad he mangled the English language and I'm a 'supporter' of his. With Kennedy she is sooo smart and this great author and she would get tossed out of Toastmasters 101. Doesn't mean she's a bad person or not smart but considering many politicians are gifted speakers to hear Kennedy is definitely a shock to the ears the first time.

I took Toastmasters for several years back in the day and they are real big on getting people to eliminate ummms, ahhhs, pregnant pauses and phrases like you knows. As a result I'm always real conscience when I speak about trying to avoid those and am quick to pick it up in others. It was just surprising to hear her speak like that.

No disrespect to Oneceler but that's weak. They were talking about purely physical appearance which leaves out personality etc. He is correct in ultimately judging someone there is much more than just looks that go into it.

You don't get it though Cawacko, seriously now. Ok, I'm going to tell this very true story to explain and then maybe you will.

When I was in my 20's I worked at this place and we had a merger, and two new guys started. One of them I just stared at when we first met; he was that physically gorgeous. The other one, Ed, used to come up to me, and I'd stare at him quizzically; I kept forgetting I had met him! He was so bland looking. Later, we would laugh about that.

Within a month, I could literally not remember how I ever thought that the first one, Steve was remotely good looking. All of a sudden his features seemed ugly. He was a huge prick. But Ed, was still to this day, the funniest man I have ever met. He would have me just rolling. And I became very attracted to him.

It doesn't leave out personality. Someone's personality can literally change how you view their physical appearance. It just can.

A girl is SO much hotter to me if she can figure out A man wants to build a rectangular enclosure for his herd. He only has $900 to spend on the fence and wants the largest size for his money. He plans to build the pen along the river on his property, so he does not have to put a fence on that side. The side of the fence parallel to the fence will cost $5 per foot to build, whereas the sides perpendicular to the river will cost $3 per foot.What dimensions should he choose?

I 100% agree with what you said above. I guess I was speaking from the perspective if you saw someone walking down the street and someone asked you whether you found them attractive or not. In a case like that you wouldn't have anything to go on but their looks.

There are some women who are attractive because of their intellect, sense of humor or other intangible.

Then there are some women who are attractive in a way that makes you just want to.....well, you get the picture.
