Well #1. A wall hasn't been built here yet and #2. We have a vastly superior record than Europe does on assimilating immigrants. We're not about to let the least educated members of our society influence public policy due to the bigoted and un-American rhetoric of a political demagogue.

The facts are is that over the last four years more illegal immigrants have been deported than at anytime in our history and that laws that were implemented, such as e-verify, have caused a tremendous drop off in immigrants attempting to illegally enter our nation. Makes you wonder, if you look at it objectively, what the hoopla is about until you understand that it's not about solving a problem but about spreading hate, fear and ignorance.
And Europe doesn't have that pesky Rio Grande to deal with.
