Yes those manufacturers did. They made those guns without the ability to grow arms/legs, load by itself, and shoot by itself. Unless you can show me where one has done all three of those things, it's the PERSON misusing it that is the problem.

Using a gun to kill is not a 'misuse' of the lethal weapon. That's what it was manufactured to do and that was its manufacturer's intent and it is inherent in its design.

Killing an innocent person is definitely a misuse of the gun.

The nonsense that guns must be used to kill PEOPLE is absurd. Most people use guns for either target shooting or hunting. Not killing other people, especially innocent people.

The guns used in this crime were constructed for the purpose of killing. They were not bookends, paperweights or ballast. Their only purpose was to kill.

So the manufacturer produced the guns knowing what their purpose was and took no action to prevent them being used for that purpose. The courts of a sane country would hold that manufacturer accountable.
