Not just him. And yes I'd like to think it's a part of the point.
Here we go again, everything is going to come back to the US, new factories are going to be built, the US is going to close its borders, Ozzie and Harriet is coming back to TV, all you have to do is wait a couple two three year and suck it up
It takes years to build a factory, and any major company building a new factory is going to do it equipped with as much AI and robotics as it can, those $20 an hour line jobs are history. It ain’t happening, plus the opportunity cost is way to high and counterproductive
I’d strongly recommend you educate yourself on comparative and absolute advantages in trading, the US isn’t gaining by bringing back menial labor jobs

How so? I have just pointed out that California almost certainly could be doing far better than it is if it weren't for an anti-business, anti-resource extraction, tax and spend, socialism oriented, leftist, Democrat run government in that state. It's not like it's unique to California either. Democrats destroyed the steel and automotive industry centered on Michigan. Democrats have destroyed industry and business in Illinois. They've done the same to New York.
Europe is run by Leftist, Democrat-like, political parties and its economy is in ruins too. Socialism doesn't work and lots of socialism is an economic disaster.
