California man sentenced to over 4 years in Jan. 6 pepper spray attack

None of the tranny libs here responded so i am forced to ask again.

Gee - how many years did BLACK cop Michael Byrd get for KILLING unarmed white girl ashli babbitt at J6?

I give up. How many?

BTW, according to your friend and compatriot, Sybil the Sycho, Babbitt was a Lefty whacko. A Democrat. Shouldn't Byrd get a medal in your book for shooting a Marxist scumbag Lefty?

The coup was by Democrats, dumbass.
^^^
Sybil the Sycho believes the 1/6 seditionists were Democrats. :rofl2:
Because they were.

Those with morals and dedication to American justice care, Terry.

Who do you think is ultimately responsible for 1/6 and why? What should be the punishment, if any?

I don't particularly care. Jan 6 was a three-hour riot and in the grand scheme of things a nearly meaningless gesture that will be a footnote in history. The only--ONLY--people obsessing over it are the Left who, grasping at any straw, see it as something they can use as a wedge issue.

You took an oath and you don't care, Terry?

You and I can agree that, legally, one's oath ends at termination of military service. I believe the moral obligation is a lifetime unless formally renounced. An oath is much more than a promise or a contract.

Do you believe the same, Terry? If not, why not?

No way he was a chief

No way he was a chief

I believe he was a chief. People change. Mostly deteriorating for elderly or other mental reasons.

IMO, all the deeply devoted conspiracy theorists are wackadoodles. It happens. People aren't responsible for going insane. Society is responsible for failing to address it.

That is not enough time for insulting capitol police officer, a Trump inserructist that beat an officer with a fire extinguisher also got four years in prison last week too?!! These must be Trump appointed judges?!!

Is that the officer that was beaten to death?

I believe the oath applies for the term of the contract. In America, moral obligations are something you personally have to choose.

Or, do you really believe that I am still obligated to follow the UCMJ and obey the orders of the officers appointed over me? That's part of the oath too.

Thanks. That explains a lot.

No. The oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, is a enough. You feel that oath ended when your "contract" expired. I disagree.

Enlisted oath of enlistment:

I, (state name of enlistee), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. (So help me God)."

So, am I bound by the UCMJ after getting out? Answer = NO.
Do I have to obey the orders of the President and officers appointed over me after leaving the service? Answer = NO.
Do I have to obey military regulations after leaving the service? Answer = NO.

So, why should the part about supporting and defending the Constitution be any different?

Go spray a cop in the face with bear spray and see how that works out for you. Assaulting a police officer, if you survive, is a serious charge. Doing it in an attempt to overthrow the government is much, much worse.

ACalifornia man who used stolen police pepper spray against officers battling a mob during the Jan. 6 attack was sentenced to more than four years in prison Friday, prosecutors said.

Jeffrey Scott Brown, 56, was sentenced to 54 months in prison, or 4½ years, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia said in a statement.

Brown, of Santa Ana, was handed pepper spray that another man had taken from a police bag, and then he sprayed police officers with the irritant as the officers were battling a mob, officials said.

Brown was found guilty of seven counts, including assaulting, resisting, or impeding law enforcements officers using a dangerous weapon; and interfering with a law enforcement officer during a civil disorder, both felonies.

The other two people convicted along with Brown, Schwartz and Maly, have long criminal histories, according to prosecutors, and face potentially far longer sentences.

Prosecutors are asking for 15 years and eight months in prison for Maly, according to a sentencing memo filed by the government.

Why are you being so defensive, Terry? You're out. You have no legal obligation to be loyal to the Constitution.

It's okay for you to renounce your oath as you just did. I was simply asking, Terry. It's your choice.

Allegedly you served in the armed forces and took an oath to defend this nation and our Constitution. Yet here you are, violating that oath by minimizing an insurrection meant to install a losing candidate back to the office the voters ejected him from. And referring to that horrible day as "a wedge issue."

You are despicable and should be court-martialed and hung like you hoped Pence was.

You're never not confused. The attackers are being convicted, not the defenders. Babbitt was at the head of an assaulting mob. The officer was defending the last obstacle between that mob and the Congressmen. How many times does this have to be pointed out?

In the grand scheme of things it might be said the attack on Fort Sumter was a near meaningless gesture. Some shells were lobbed at a fort, did some damage but no one was killed or seriously injured. People obsessed over that, too. South Carolina got the shit kicked out of it, among other things.

How many times does it have to be explained that she was a female, AF veteran who was UNARMED, Marty.

Poor Marty.
