Cabinet members discuss invoking 25th Amendment to remove Trump

U.S. trade group asks VP Pence to 'seriously consider' invoking 25th Amendment to remove Trump

New York(CNN Business)The National Association of Manufacturers, one of the most influential business groups in the US, called on Vice President Mike Pence Wednesday to consider removing President Donald Trump from office.

The statement from Republican-leaning NAM, the nation's largest manufacturing association, marks perhaps the strongest political statement by a major business group in modern history. And it puts an exclamation point on the breakup between the business community and the self-styled CEO president.

Pence "should seriously consider working with the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to preserve democracy," NAM CEO Jay Timmons, a former Republican political operative, said in the statement.

Trump has two weeks left. Why start new shit now? Just let the guy go. He isn't going to get to stay in office.

My first thought. Then I realized that two weeks is like a year with respect to the damage he will do out of spite.

But it's more about sending a message to any future trumps.

Important to send a message to history, to posterity, to future presidents that treason and inciting insurrections against the duly elected government of the United States will not be tolerated.

He won't do anything of major import in the next two weeks. Besides, Biden can easily negate those actions just as every previous incoming President has done with last minute moves by the previous administration.

The poluyut has hit the fan.

Putin is laughing.

Russians are dancing.

...for inciting an insurrection against the duly elected government of the United States.

The 25th Amendment is for disability when the president is no longer able to carry out his duties. It is not for insurrection--there are other laws for that. But they could never get a conviction for insurrection.

Donald Trump is mentally unbalanced, criminally unfit, and is America's No. 1 security risk for the months to come.

He still has the keys to the kingdom, the codes to the BOMBS, has all of America's Top Secrets in his briefcase, is vindictive as hell, and hellbent on taking the US down with him when he goes. There is no telling what he may do over the course of the next two weeks.

He needs to be removed from office before he can do anymore damage!

BUT LET ME TELL YOU- HE HAS RUINED ANY CHANCE OF GETTING A PARDON FROM MIKE PENCE!

MIKE PENCE WILL BE IN CHAMBER ALL NIGHT WITH OTHER CABINET MEMBERS TO DISCUSS THE 25th Amendment pros and cons. Just as soon as the Congress finishes up tonight!

4 Cabinet members stepped down today, but some agreed to remain only to help in case they are needed to help in carrying out the 25th Amendment!

Trump lost his cabinet today.

He's already shown the level of mayhem and destruction he's capable of causing in just one day.

Two weeks could be long enough for him to destroy the country completely.
