First lady's chief of staff and White House social secretary resign after violent protests

Stephanie Grisham, the former White House communications director and press secretary and current chief of staff for first lady Melania Trump, submitted her resignation Wednesday afternoon, effective immediately, in the wake of the violent protests, a White House official says.

White House social secretary Anna Cristina "Rickie" Niceta also resigned Wednesday effective immediately, a White House official told CNN.

Smart move.

Hello T. A. Gardner,

Trump has two weeks left. Why start new shit now? Just let the guy go. He isn't going to get to stay in office.

Because he is dangerous to the USA, and unfit to hold the office for the next two weeks. He is out of touch with reality and refuses to accept the reality that he lost the election. He is thus delusional and unfit. He is also very unpredictable. He incited a riot that got somebody killed and brought disgrace to our nation.

He won't do anything of major import in the next two weeks. Besides, Biden can easily negate those actions just as every previous incoming President has done with last minute moves by the previous administration.
Biden cannot undo an attack on Iran

What you think he should get to do free crimes because he’s a short timer

Who is he allowed to murder in those two weeks asscrack?

...for inciting an insurrection against the duly elected government of the United States.
LOL. Complete Lies.
Don't take my word for it.
This is from the Rupert Murdoch's conservative Wall Street Journal:

"the leader of the executive branch incited a crowd to march on the legislative branch.

The express goal was to demand that Congress and Vice President Mike Pence reject electors from enough states to deny Mr. Biden an Electoral College victory. When some in the crowd turned violent and occupied the Capitol, the President caviled and declined for far too long to call them off. When he did speak, he hedged his plea with election complaint. ."

Can Biden undo a self-pardon??

They need Pence to do it and, one theory is Pence doesn't want to do it because then he'd be pressured by all the nutjobs to pardon Trump.

It’s a miracle, everyone is discovering what Trump is really like and they are all outraged by golly.

They knew, but they didn't know Trump would go that far. Talk is one thing, but actually doing something harmful is another.

With 2 weeks to go. Seriously..these people are elected?

Uhmm, no. Waste. Of. Time.

2 weeks and Biden will be sworn in..then Article V to get America back on track. ;)

Maybe after a couple weeks of him fucking up, but I do believe it's going to happen this time.
This time is serious.

I always laughed at that idea that they could control him.

They could to some extent. The Constitution limits all of them and over 230 years of Federal government has created many layers of protection. No doubt the Cold War and the idea of a single madman launching our nukes put some limits on the office of the President.

Still, Trump is good at finding loopholes and he exploited each one to the maximum. The next year or two will see Congress reevaluating our Federal laws governing the President and Congress. I think good will come from this little bit of history.

It appears your mastery of English-language is quite low.

The word incite is not the same as the words order, direct, instruct

Irish seems to be emotionally overwrought. Maybe he wimped out in going and now his friends are now under arrest and cursing his cowardice.
