I didnt vote for Harry because I would have had to drive back to nevada to do so.
I was knewly moved back to cali.
Harry did not run for leadr of the free world either.
He was running as a senator for Nv.
when it comes to leader of the free world I would have driven back and voted for him.
Now If I vote for a third party candidate KNOWING full well that person has a snowballs chance of winning then its pouting about not getting everything you want.
If you vote for the guy or gal who you know it will either be them or the last person you want to see in power you have made an adult choice.
The republican party works to keep people from voting to win elections.
they have done it for decades.
The subvert American democracy so they can weild power.
By voting for a known loser no matter how much you like them you have helped the republicans to win the election.
I was born poor and have done pretty damned well in life and do you know how I did it?
By looking honestly at my choices at any given momment in my life and making the one that would get me closest to the path I wanted.
No not the easy path, no not the fun path, no not the blind faith path.
The real effect of our choices without blinders and fantasy.
My guide: is it a moral choice, is it an choice that will improve something in my life, is it doable.
That was how I made these choices.
I vote the same way.
I dont pretend that making a choice I know will effect nothing for the better is a better choice.
Get as close to your target as possible because then the NEXT choice will cluster closer to your goal.

Zap, I hate to tell you my man but it's being reported all over the news as a bad jobs report because it is. If one takes a step back from the hyper partisan fighting on this board and views it from a non-partisan non-political position not enough jobs are being created. Don't get fooled by the drop in the unemployment rate. My comments have nothing to do with whether Obama should be re-elected or not or whether Romney should be elected. It is strictly on the jobs report.

3) FACT: Economic meltdown under Bush and Dem Congress, yep, Bush was President in 2008 and the Dems controlled Congress
4) FACT: Median income is down since Obama took office
5) FACT: Labor participation is down since Obama took office
6) FACT: Unemployment remains up above 8%

There are two things that make the unemployment rate drop... people getting jobs and people giving up looking for work. So what was the greater factor this month? The 100k new jobs or the 368k giving up?

While it's nice that you're not taking a partisan stance on the jobs numbers, please note my comments weren't directed at you.
Of course the report isn't as good as we'd like, but adding ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND JOBS and lowering unemployment by two-tenths of a percent is CERTAINLY better than the skyrocketing unemployment that was taking place when Obama was first handed the reins and told to fix Bush's mess.
