Does not matter to me....We cant go back and fix what we believe were the errors our ancestors made without in the end causing more problems than we solve....without moving ourselves in reverse.....this is the nature of reality.

What we suffer from currently is too much UTOPIAN thinking, too much faith in this project of perfecting man.

There are some other weird ones like the Canola land grant in Arizona. It is one that predates the Mexican-American War and was upheld as legal afterwards giving the family the land without being taxed as they owned it pre-US. So, the Left claiming every minority got screwed by the US government / Whites is a bunch of BS.

It’s possible there’s some Pandora’s Box that could be opened that I’m not fully thinking through, but on the merits I’m with you that in this specific case this family was wronged and done what was right to rectify it.

We fail to concentrate on the important things, in fact we now mostly fail to ever learn what the important things are....and once we do see that something is wrong rarely do we ever fix the problem, often we barely try.

In this instance, it DOES appear to be a rare instance of liberal conduct to some extent influenced by the left.

Generally speaking, however, confusing the left with liberals is like confusing the rape victim with the rapist.

Yes, and those of us who have been trying to help people understand this dont seem to be getting very far. The only chance of saving America from this Regressive Left Revolution is if the last of the liberals band together with the Conservatives and anyone else who can be found to put down this illiberal revolution as a massive force of rebellion. And it would have to be massive, the Revolution has taken all of the power centers.....this is all but over already.

I have believed for a very long time,...maybe even longer than you, that the current America is beyond saving. Try and try as we may,...it cannot be done. Notice I said CURRENT america. IMO there is only one way this country can be saved from itself. It needs to utterly crash into absolute despair and ruin. Only then will people WAKE UP and see what they once had but CHOSE to slowly destroy over time. Sometimes a walk through utter darkness is what is needed to get back to the light. Right now all we are doing is strapping this thing together with cheap duck tape and crazy glue,.....that is NOT how you fix a problem. Like a house that has been allowed by its piss poor owners to slowing degenerate into a mold infested shack our house needs to be allowed to collapse and bulldozed in so it can be rebuilt again to what it once was.

As pessimistic as I have been I have not been pessimistic enough, "as bad as you think it is it is actually worse" applies here. This caused my one big mistake, I and my wife were very free range parents, we gave our kids as much freedom as they could handle as early as we could, which is how we were raised. I did not want to manage their childhood unless it was required for their safety, I did not want to mold them, I wanted them to experience and learn and sometimes fall down then learn how not to fall down. For instance we refused to do most of the school things parents were expected to do then (schools claimed that it was for the benefit of the kids education but now I think that the whole idea was to keep an eye on the parents). I rarely tried to guide them on what they should think, I wanted them to flower into themselves (a very Zen thing).

Had I known that they were being so indoctrinated into a illiberal neo-marxist cult I would have not done that.

Economically we are toast...we needed to launch reforms by the late 80's.....70's would have been better. A very hard crash was certain when even the Great Recession failed to wake us up.

"We can fix it after we crash and people finally wake up" wont work those who have almost finished enslaving the masses will not let it work, and they have amazing tech tools now to keep the people insane and obeying.

This dark age will likely last hundreds of years.
 
I would hate to go through life seeing more bad than good in the world. It would be very depressing to be some of you people. I hope your lives improve. I still see more good than bad, more joy than sorrow and more productivity than destruction. I see the glass as full.
