Brits to be inundated with ' putrefying stockpiles of rubbish ' after Brexit.

Satire for Sanity
Government officials are preparing to deal with “putrefying stockpiles” of rubbish in the event of a no-deal Brexit, according to documents leaked to the Guardian.

If the UK leaves the EU on 29 March without a deal, export licences for millions of tonnes of waste will become invalid overnight. The Environment Agency (EA) officials said leaking stockpiles could cause pollution.

The EA is also concerned that if farmers cannot export beef and lamb a backlog of livestock on farms could cause liquid manure stores to overflow. A senior MP said the problems could cause a public health and environmental pollution emergency. An EA source said: “It could all get very ugly, very quickly.”

DEFINITELY a job for Supermaggot. Haw, haw.........haw.

If they can't work out the details in time why don't they just vote to postpone until each of the issues can be resolved?

It's astonishing how the British establishment has continued down this disastrous road when there is such a good exit strategy. Polls indicate that the majority of Brits favor a second referendum, and would vote remain if presented with the choice. The original Brexit vote was made in a state of abject ignorance, as Brexit proponents lied through their teeth about what it would mean (with Russia echoing that disinformation as part of their long term strategy of disrupting European unity to allow for expanding their power back through Eastern Europe). Why not have another vote? The refusal of British power players like May to do that, even in the face of looming disaster, suggests that they may have made personal investments that will only pay off if Brexit happens.

Hello Oneuli,

That makes the most sense.

What a load of bollocks, it's clear that you know fuck all about the UK, Brexit or indeed the politics underpinning it. Do yourself a favour and read this, you might just learn something.

Back the trucks up to the English Channel and dump away. If the EU won't take it, let them pick it up from their shores.

Did you read that link I gave you?

Yes. Did you? If so, did you notice it didn't actually offer so much as a single piece of evidence? It simply makes a string of complimentary assertions about Brexiters. Do you honestly imagine that is a rebuttal?

Remoaners are very fond of depicting Brexiteers as right wing, working class and low intelligence. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Pro-tip, if Brexiteers don't want to be thought of as having low intelligence, a great place to start would be to avoid third-grade name-calling like "Remoaners." I'm not claiming all Brexiteers are idiots. Surely there must be some, somewhere who have at least the minimal intelligence that would be needed to refrain from such rhetoric. But, isn't it interesting how hard it is to find them?

Regardless, if you go back to what I wrote, you'll see I didn't say they were right-wing, working-class, or of low intelligence. I said they were ignorant. Events that have happened since the Brexit vote seem to have educated enough of them to sway opinion against Brexit. So, why not let the people vote again?

So what do you suggest best out of three, or five even? That's not how it works, we are not Ireland or Norway. The second referendum is being proposed by the likes of Tony B Liar and supported by George Soros in the shadows. There is no real appetite for one, it would solve nothing indeed I suggest that there would be an even bigger vote for Brexit. Corbyn has been using Brexit to force a General Election, he has been thoroughly routed thanks to 14 Labour MPs voting down the Yvette Cooper amendment. I am more than happy for a no deal Brexit, if the EU continues being so intransigent. Just see how long it takes before the German car industry which exports 850,000 cars to the UK each year. Indeed we are their biggest export market. Same goes for French Champagne houses, again we are their biggest export market. There is also French cheeses, Belgian chocolates and Italian Prosecco to name just a few. We have a trade deficit of £70 billion with the EU, do you think they'll be affected?

I have seen how the EU operates over many years, they always go down to the wire and suddenly come up with a deal at five minutes to midnight. They've done so many times in the past, read up on Mastricht and Lisbon negotiations. It is Germany and Angela Merkel that is behind this, she is determined that we be punished to set an example to any others considering the same thing. She won't win, maybe she should read up on what happened the last time the Germans tried to impose their will on the Brits.

"Controlled opposition" indeed. Don't like having the source of the control pointed out, do you?

You're paranoid about Russia. What does it say about the United States if Russia is as evil and competent as you seem to think it is? Russia has a GDP about the same as Spain's. Calm down and stop blaming other nations for our problems.

With the UK hemorrhaging manufacturers and employers , Nissan being the latest to bail out, it will need alternatives. Rubbish recycling and other waste management seems very apt.
Europe would welcome having a physically isolated dump so close by.
They're going to have to develop methods and plant to cope with their own waste anyway as Europe won't be taking it- and neither will China. The Brits are innovative and they'll soon turn their idle hands to shit-shovelling. They'll probably become world leaders in garbage management very quickly.

That's probably gonna raise the deficit. Which is why they need to put the brakes on about this hard exit, one way or another. Either extend the deadline or have another vote now that everybody is getting a better idea of everything entailed.

Snake oil is something you end up with when you were promised something else!

Snake oil is still available- after all these years- as you will always have people trying sell it to you by substituting that for the things they truly promised!

The thing is- Snake Oil is horrible- and people still buy it anyway- thinking they were buying something entirely different as promised!

Some people in today's world will try and sell it to people who are not smart enough to know it's horrible- even if they do want it.

Brexit was sold to the Brits- the Brits tasted it- and they spit it out!

Donald Trump was sold to the Americans- that snake oil tasted like shit- and America is about to vomit that piece of shit now!

Never buy snake oil- that shit sucks- and so do the people selling it!
