Right, they stay out of sports until the inflammation goes down. The article does not match the study. Furthermore, you do know that MI's are uncommon among athletes so when it does happen this can be a cause. The study is preliminary and not peer reviewed. It hasn't been "Cooked" yet. Like other virii, the possibility of MI's do to inflamation can increase, covid is not special here. my link explains this to you.

The good news (or bad, depending upon your perspective) is that almost all young people think "It can't happen to me". They'll go through life blissfully ignorant until the odds catch up to a few be it COVID, AIDS or plain ol' Chlamydia. FWIW, I'd prefer the latter over the former. ;)
