I am not anti-science.

I do not know when age-related cognitive decline begins, but I suspect it is so different from individual to individual, coming up with a number probably has little real-world consequences.

I recognize that I, personally, am not as "smart" as I once was, but I also realize that the time between age 40 and 70 were the most insightful of my life. I saw things in ways I was unable to earlier...and it was to my benefit.

I have no idea of how old you are, but you reason and post like a child...like an adolescent who still if trying to figure out what's what. (And doing a piss poor job of that.)

Well, it is equally obvious to those of us with functioning brains...that you are NOT slipping. Your problem is that the slippage is all in the past tense.

You cannot lose what you do not have, EL...and intellectual acumen in not something you need worry about losing...no matter how old you get. You have none to lose.

For sure. The other thing is anyone who speaks off the cuff as often as Biden does can be cherry picked to the loony bin. That goes as strongly for the Donald as it does for Biden, even more so since Biden knows politics, history and human nature far better than Trump does. The cherry pickers only reveal themselves at that moment as having nothing worth hearing or reading to offer themselves.

You’re right and Biden is known for his gaffes as long as he’s been in politics. I can’t imagine having to think about what you’re saying and think about not stuttering at the same time. I really respect the man, I can’t imagine.

...Joe Biden is all the things I want in a president.

Yeah, he has lots of faults...

...but compared with four more years of Trump...there are none that matter.
