Birthright Citizenship....

holy shit - Ketanji Brown Jackson got slapped down hard in the majority opinion. She was literally clowned as a know nothing moron
She's far from that. But she is a pain in that collective butt in the way she regularly slaps down the majority's cozy reasoning, which she does once more in this sorry case.

I don't recall ever reading the majority opinion specifically name and clown a fellow member of the court

Marty, Marty, Marty, she can't say what a woman is.

It looks like it will be State Specific, so states that have sued to prevent such deportations will likely get a certifications for Stay of Enforcement, while those states that have not will allow such deportations to go on.

We will have two laws in the Untied States for a time period.

It is going to be very interesting.

That is why the Dems lose so often.

They did not say that, they said that they must certify a class, which they did not do, but will do in the future.

Live Updates: Trump Hails Supreme Court Ruling Limiting Nationwide Injunctions

In a major victory for President Trump, the court restricted the ability of federal judges to block his executive orders. ***The decision may reshape the way U.S. citizenship is granted,*** even temporarily. (Asterisks are mine)

This is a win for that issue.

She is a great person, and very intelligent regarding the law.

Sounds like she really pissed off the Conservatives.
She was in the minority that always votes against the Constitution.

She and the other two loons lost.

Ok, but we will see.
Let's be clear on what the ruling did and didn't do.

It did not comment on the merits of Trumps position on birthright citizenship

What it did do is limit the ability of these rogue district court judges to issue nationwide injunctions. Which in effect means Trump can move forward in certain instances.

Supreme Court Partially stays the decision. Amy Barrett wrote the opinion, looks like a punt on the ultimate question.
You could not have been anymore wrong about this ruling. They didn't even rule on the merits of birthright citizenship, but they did smack down activist judges issuing nationwide injunctions.

It looks like the administration will prevail... A good day for us...
All Administrations going forward, the point the right is missing here, just like they did Trump’s immunity ruling, is that this ruling applies to future Presidents as much as it does Trump. It basically means the President does not need Congress to act, and there will there be very limited legal access to challenge what the President decrees or does.

Not only has this Court made the Executive Office supersede the Legislative, but now also, the Judiciary, not quite what the Founder Fathers had in mind
