Either you have no clue what you are talking about or you are completely nuts. There really are no other choices. The bill deals with the process in Congress and objections there.
In the case of the process before certified results get to Congress, if one person can trigger an investigation then an investigation would have to be triggered for every person that objects. That would be complete nonsense and tie up every election. So, all a group would have to do is object and then object again when the first objection fails and then object again and then object again ad infinitum and the investigations would never end since every objection would require an investigation and there is no time limit to when the objections have to end.
