Sometimes, Biden tries too hard to make a point! But sometimes he will gaffe!

On occasion, Biden is one of those kind of guys that- I know what he was trying to say- even though it came out sounding kind of like he had his foot in his mouth- as he said it!

Cut the man some slack for goodness sakes!

Makes for great SNL though!

If presidents didn't gaffe, SNL would be out of business.

One can make the argument that even though his comment was a prime example of white supremacy he should be cut some slack and that it would be great fodder for SNL.

However that would completely belie Jean-Pierre's claim that Democrats are different and hold their own accountable for racist actions/statements. Because Biden's comment hit at the core of white supremacy.

First of all- lighten up! Some of my comments were intended as humor- The one about SNL!

The comment that Biden made is in NO WAY a racist comment. 2ndly it has nothing to do with WHITE SUPREMACY.

Unlike when we elected Barrack Obama as president, and the Democrats were publicly called "Nigger Lovers" by the real WHITE SUPREMACISTS- THE REPUBLICANS.
And Michelle Obama was being called a "Tranny", and was being referred to as an "Orangutan", as were the Obama children- by the real RACISTS- THE REPUBLICANS!

And these racist referrals by the real WHITE SUPREMACY racists here in the form about the Obama's, still surface here ever since, and seen here as often as just last week- for example.

What Biden said, was basically, "If you are Black and voting for Donald Trump, YOU AIN'T BLACK"!

STUPID COMMENT! As these 12 words are actually a contradiction- "If you are Black- You ain't Black" in the very same sentence. SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN SAID!

But, I do not see it as racist- AND JOE BIDEN DOES NOT HAVE A RACIST BONE IN HIS BODY- just because he made a stupid comment.

It is a known fact that 90% of the Black voters that voted in 2020, voted for Joe Biden. So 1 out of 10 Blacks voted for Donald Trump!

So what Joe Biden could have said is, "If you are a Black voter and intending to vote for Donald Trump or even still supporting Donald Trump at this point, you may not be voting with the majority of Blacks, and you don't have the NORMAL sentiments of the Black Man and their plight for equality and equal opportunity- and you will not be voting with the majority of Black People's best interests in mind".

Donald Trump, in every Red State, challenged the vote counts IN COURT of every Black or Minority district in those same RED STATES, by accusing those minority districts and the minorities that voted, of cheating in the 2020 election. THAT IS WHAT REAL RACISM looks like in America- AND BY AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT.

So in essence, what Donald Trump was saying is "Minorities cheat in elections, and therefore we REPUBLICANS do not accept the vote counts of minority districts in RED STATES ANYMORE".

And prior to that, and this goes back to before the 2016 election, and then again prior to the 2020 election, Donald Trump was quoted as saying publicly many times and at every TRUMP STUMP, "The only way I can lose, is if the election is rigged"!

And Donald Trump has since publicly accused Stacy Adams and Rev. Warnock directly- OF RIGGING THE VOTES IN GEORGIA, that in turn caused him to lose the election.

THAT IS WHAT TRUE RACISM LOOKS LIKE FROM A REAL WHITE SUPREMACIST PRESIDENT.

Sorry- But YOU FAIL to make the case that Joe Biden is a racist or that he is a White Supremacist!

What Joe Biden said was in the BEST INTERESTS of the majority of Black voters- and not a racist comment in any way, shape, or form- JUST A STUPID GAFFE!

Your post is enlightening because it shows even white people who think they are progressive and not racist can be clueless about what is racist and their own racism.

You weren't even aware he made the comment so I think its safe to say you didn't see some of the backlash against it.

I'll offer an example to show you why its white supremacy. Do white people ever get told they are selling out their race or aren't white if they don't think or vote a certain way? No we don't. But why is that way for black people? It's one thing it black people do it to each other. But if you claim racism and white supremacy is bad how is it ever ok to tell a black person they aren't black if they don't do what you want? That is the definition of white supremacy. Yet here you justifying it and saying he should be given a pass because you like him/his politics.

You want equity or equality? Statements like that are the opposite.
