Best OWS Protester Line After Being Evicted

I said it was the American version, they don't want to bring down the government or start a revolution for the most part. Oh OK, some might have wanted that but you are allowed to be idealistic whilst young. I think the one thing that they all wanted is a return to some semblance of morality in business. Why should bankers and traders get such obscene bonuses for just doing their jobs?

Personally I think they get the obscene bonuses because its their business, they get to do what they want with it. As for some semblance of morality in business, well, the purpose of a business is to make money and that nusiness is going to go all out to make that money because that's what it does, dont be surprised about it. I think the entire occupy wallstreet is rather, silly, but they can sit and chant all day long if it makes them happy.

Welcome to the United States of China. The Zucotti Square 'events', innocent citizens protesting for democracy forcibly ejected from a public square by armed and uniformed thugs. The evil government throwing people off their land just to build a railway. The legal requirement to be 'patriotic'.
And guess who owns your fat yank arses?
Hope you like rice you friggin' idiot.

Just think how many people would have been displace if they were building something like, oh I don't know,........................................................................maybe a dam across 3 gorges.

1. i don't see how their personal property can be confiscated, unless they refused to move it, in which case, they should be allowed to retrieve it at a later time

2. what are the legal grounds for camping out in a public space? is it just free speech? if that was the case, then all homeless could camp out at any park and simply proclaim they are protesting something.

It's his own fault if he was too lazy to pick up his own backpack......

So who gave them the right to massively gamble with their customer's money betting on complex derivatives and dealing collateralised debt obligations.

those citizens are not innocent, at all. they are directly responsible for this mess because they didn't confront the right entity.

It's quite simple really. Corporate USA has all the real power whilst the ordinary citizen is totally shafted by a kleptocracy. You have free speech but what's the point as nobody listens anyway.

wow. just wow.

i guess no one has heard the OWS protesters

fail

It's only the Beginning!

Coming to your hometown soon!

So what's changed then?

huh?

you're equivocating free speech with change? you obviously do not understand free speech. just because i make a statement, does not mean the rest of the country has to listen or change. that is the beauty of free speech. then again, you brits don't understand that concept.

OK. For those sleeping at the back of the class, cast your tiny minds back to the way the Tian an men square 'events' were reported in the western pressin 1989. Then re-read my little spoof. And then ask your Mum why she went to all the trouble of giving birth to you.

Yet you are vehemently against the OWS people on the basis of their alleged poor hygiene. I don't remember you saying that about the protesters at Tahir Square in Cairo.

I can't help thinking that tattooed, unshaven and pierced protesters do themselves no favours. They seem determined to undermine their own efforts.
Does anyone remember the lawyers protests in India a couple of years back. The lawyers did not appear in torn jeans and unshaven faces, they dressed as what they are: people who uphold the nation's law and who have credibility.
I look at some of these people in London and New York and I have to ask, are they really employable? Do they really know what they are protesting about?
The cause is undoubtedly good, but for goodness sake, lose the tramps and slags.

The park is a privately owned park. Basically what they are saying is they can "occupy" the space, but not live there. No sleeping in the park seems to be the only rule.

It is not their business, it is the stockholders business. They are employees.

Stick to handing out tickets.

Only corporate USA is allowed free speech.

Free speech now equals 'being able to camp overnight in a public park'???

Is not everyone entitled to use those parks? Do we not have permits/rules/regulations for a reason? If you allow people to do whatever they want in the name of 'free speech' then you end up with anarchy.

are you that totally screwed up that you're incapable of putting together two coherent posts in one thread?
