Since I haven't been there in a long while I'll take your word on it. Our rivers in the mountains are some of the best fishing. In the Piedmont they are turbid with the crappy red clay we farm here, but it is excellent canoeing and cleans up well for municipal supply. In the Low County they are black with natural organic matter- some tout its health benefit. I've canoed it and it is clear when you are on it and rather enchanting.

I remarked about the Susquehanna in PA since I've seen a huge improvement in the last three decades and and envious of it as a canoer's paradise.

And your plan as Republicans running such a city is what exactly? Ans: Not providing any welfare and homeless programs, food, shelter, policing and emergency health care & drug treatment? Way to make them safer!

Your plan for those who have not is to take what little they have. Are you prepared to let 20% of the people in cities die and families go hungry?

None of the rivers in Ohio compare to the Susquehanna as we don't have any mountain fed rivers. The best two rivers for canoeing are the Hoking and Muskingum rivers which are major tributaries to the Ohio river and mostly meander through our only remaining old growth forest and the scenery is beautiful. When you travel through Ohio on the highways there isn't much to see and west of Columbus your in the corn belt but eastern and southern Ohio is gorgeous once you get off the highways.
