Democrats have basically controlled the state legislature for the past 45 years.

SF hasn't had a Republican Mayor since 1965. It has probably been 40 years since a Republican was on the board of supervisors.

The Governors pretty much control what happens to the state. That's why republicans cheat to the fullest extent to keep the governor seats.

Keep thinking City Mayors really have that much pull.

All the republican governors installed racist white wing laws when they were in office in CA.

Like Pete Wilson who enacted the 3 strikes law.

I could name more of the racist filth the republican governors brought to CA. But it won't make a difference to someone like you who can't see beyond the false narratives of today.

By the way, you would vote right in line with those republican governors on social, economic, and political issues. Doesn't matter if you call yourself a moderate, independent or didn't vote for dump, it's the issues you share that matter.
