Police need to patrol where white people live, to find white supremacist, they have been terrorizing this nation for the last 200+years. They have terrorized Blacks, Muslims and Mexicans without such a peep from anyone for the past 8 years.

Fuck your racist police. We don't want them in our neighborhoods. The entire force is tainted with you white supremacist, and until you are all purged from the system, things will never get better.
HOWEVER, if they start patrolling white neighborhoods and get some of the white supremacists off the streets, we minorities may feel a little safer.

This issue has nothing to do with Trump, he did not put up these statues, and he has not protested their being removed. I voted for Trump and would be glad to shake the hand and hug the girl who climbed that statue. We will not agree on everything, but all these monuments are, is a way to keep something alive that great expense was paid to kill

community policing is not a bad thing.
It does not mean MORE police per resident.
It means police trained in a way that they are community leaders on the streets who also know how to defend the rights of those being maltreated by criminals.

The problem isn't police training, they are trained to not shoot unarmed white folk. It's as simple as don't shoot.
The problem is law enforcement is the safe haven for those same white supremacist who terrorized the streets of VA this weekend.

In 2012, crime was so bad and money so tight in Camden, New Jersey, that city officials decided to take dramatic steps to scrap its 141-year-old unionized police department and replace it with a county-based force, one that focused more on putting cops on the street and building better relations with the residents they serve.
President Obama on Monday hailed the nascent Camden County Police Department as a national success story, a model for other departments to emulate as cities across the country continue to grapple with increasingly stormy relations between cops and the minority neighborhoods they police.

“Just a few years ago, this city was written off as dangerous beyond redemption, a city trapped in a downward spiral,” the president said at a community center in Camden. “Parents were afraid to let their children play outside, drug dealers operated in broad daylight, there weren’t enough cops to patrol the streets, so two years ago the police department was overhauled to implement a new model of community policing.”
The community policing idea has been around for decades, but in the aftermath of police shootings and the deaths of black men in police custody in cities across the U.S.—many of them captured on video—political leaders and police officials are beginning to refocus attention on such methods as they attempt to reestablish trust in their communities.
