BAC, Nancy Pelosi is leaving you out

Was reading this blog post on the SF Chronicle website on liberals coming to protest Pelosi at a fund raising appearance in Marin and saw this quote:

Pelosi said that “People on the far right are saying oh, this is the fourth term of President Bush….absolutely, positively not so.”

Welcome to the far right bac. :)

:0) Thank you brother.

Her problem is that many people on the left are saying it and she knows it .. but she doesn't want to talk about that.

I've had the absolute joy of once telling Pelosi's Press Secretary that I thought she was full of shit and a poor excuse for a leader .. as she was storming out of a meeting.

Her comment that you posted proves that I was right.

Thanks :0)

If republicans had not cheated people out of their vote there never would have been a First Shrub term

I agree, but if democrats had taken the threat of paperless electronic voting seriously, there would have never been a second Bush term.

Truth is, democrats have still never addressed the fraud of electronic voting. Americans vote on third-worldish technology that is easily hacked.

I have been on the case with some of these people since 2002 I think it was.

I went on line because I wanted to tell people Sadam was not with AQ and the government was lying.

I had dems telling me to shut up about it.

how can you win any election if you PRETEND the other side is not cheating.

the answer to solving for real the problems this country has is to elect MORE left leaning representation.

Helping the republicans wont work

Ok, but you still have to govern once you get elected. Do you agree with bac and others that Obama has been Bush III and IV?

I don't.

While Pres. Obama has continued some of Bush's policies, he also has done things differently. We're out of Iraq; we're getting out of Afghanistan; we did get a least a bit of a boost in upper income tax rates. Bush/Cheney would have led on Libya and we'd have a lot of troops on the ground in Syria by now.

Yes, he's continued the Patriot Act and what not, but I think he's trying to do it in a "legal" fashion (not that I think the Patriot Act should be there, but it is law of the land at the moment)

Domestically, I can't see Bush ever endorsing marriage equality while in office. Obama signed the Lily Ledbetter act. He did an executive letter or whatever (can't quite remember the legal term) that hospitals that take federal funds have to allow partners in to see their hospitalized partner, instead of just spouses; now hospitals can't refuse access to a same sex partner. Just a couple examples.

Pres. Obama is still too conservative for me; he has continued policies I don't agree with; but I don't think he's merely another Bush.

edited: Another Bush would have killed our country...

Actually, here in California, Debra Bowen, Democrat, Secretary of State, has done a great job on this issue.

I applaud her.

There are many democrats .. and some republicans around the country who take this issue seriously. I worked hard at it for several years, spoke as an IT database professional who understands database security and how programming functions. I worked for Drew Barrymore when she produced her youth voting documentary, "The Best Place to Start."

I was there when the fraud of electronic voting was conclusively proven in the Leon County Hack.

Panels, discussions, town hall meetings, and six documentaries later, I gave up. The American people simply weren't interested in the knowledge that their votes were being stolen.

I only occasionally talk about it now .. because Americans still aren't interested.

this president has been met with unbelievable opposition from the creepy assed cracker party.

Much of what he is blamed for doing or not doing is the result of this
