Not a lawyer but that seems SOP to delay sentencing a few months. Frank mentioned one reason but the Defense may request it too in order to appeal before sentencing or other actions.

I was just wondering if October had any significance.

The appeal will occurs after the sentencing. The sentence will be stayed pending sentencing.
 
Bannon has sold people on the idea that he cares about America, and the Constitution, just like Trump.

He cares about neither, at all. Just like Trump - he's a con man, and fraud. I don't know why people fall for their game.

I suspect the reason Bannon went to trial on a basically slam dunk case for the prosecution was the fundraising possibilities from dupes like you. He will defraud you people out of another million dollars.

Bannon is a jerkoff...and a coward.

I say he folds like a cheap suit...and all this bullshit about being willing to go to jail on principle...is about as true as "going medieval" at his trial.

He is a phony, like Trump is a phony. And the Trumpers are phonies, too.
 
IT is possible he could get 30 days total. Two 30 day mandatory sentences to be served concurrently.

I would love to see him get a year in jail...with two one year sentences being served concurrently. That, I suspect, is the max the judge will set.

Also, I suspect the help Bannon gives to the Jan. 6th committee may influence the judge's decision in this regard.
