At least 30 dead, 100 injured after truck drives into Bastille Day crowd in Nice

Let's try an example: if you filled MetLife stadium with Muslims, and one turned out to be violent. How fair is it to blame the rest of the Muslims in MetLife?

I'd have to work the #'s, but that's probably more %-wise than we're talking about worldwide.
Sure be nice to see you defending Christians like this.

If you filled MetLife with muslimes you would have a target rich environment to eliminate a lot of muslimes. Win win

But keep your head in the sand it will make it easier for the muslimes like mullah moon2012 to cut it off

Your last words will probably be "remember I am not an islamophobe"
You really are piece of shit.

If ISIS is following Islam, why do the same people say Christian terrorists or attackers are not following Christianity?

Why the difference?

Obama blandishment spech on Nice

heard it in the car coming home from shopping: WTF is he even saying?
++

Obamas continues with his call to unity: “we cannot give in to fear or turn on each either.”

“We cannot let ourselves be divided by religion because that’s exactly what the terrorists want. We should never do their work for them.”

“We have to be vigilant to defend our security and our freedoms,” he continues. “And all of us, whatever nations we represent here, I think have to step back and reflect on what we’re doing to eliminate this kind of chronic violence.”

Obama then draws the violence in France to the recent shootings in the United States: five police officers killed in Dallas last Friday and two black men killed by police in the days before that shooting.

“It’s been a difficult several weeks here in the Untied States, but the divide that exists is not between races and ethnicities and religion. It is between people that recognize the common humanity of all people, and are willing to build institutions that promote that common humanity, and those who do not.

“Those who would suggest that somebody is less than them because of their tribe or their ethnicity or their color. And those impulses exist in all our countries. And those impulses, when we do not speak out against them and build strong institutions to protect them from those impulses, they can take over. They can be unleashed. …

“Even as we are relentless against terrorists, it’s also worthy for us to recognize that our nations have worked together for security and peace and human dignity around the world.”

The president concludes his remarks by hailing the work of diplomacy, and the common good created in Europe and Latin America through it: “What a contrast to the death and nihilism that terrorists offer.”

The only true Christian terrorists, that are analogous to Islamic terrorists, are abortion bombers; that is, they bomb clinics for *purely* Christian reasons. The Klan isn't really Christian since they are the archetypal 'perverters of religion': their bigotry is given a Christian facade---but it's clearly a facade.

I find it just pathetic how people like Rana attempt to deny that ISIS is not following Islam. She is ignorance personified, IMHO.
"violent extremist, nihilists" is as close as Obama is going to get. He can't even call out jihadist/salafists

Maybe ISIS is also a perverter of religion.

he does indeed. He goes after anyone that is takfiri not just the west; he's intelligent and determined to bring about an Islamic apocalypse

Here he is as caliph Ibrahim:
( subtitled)

Notice he speaks from an historical context: Ramadan is the month in which Mohammed mustered his armies and waged war against the infidel.

excellent insight!
He mentions mankind's and jinn only purpose is to worship Allah - and unless the law of Allah is established -thru jihad- his word cannot be established ( the reason for the caliphate)
'A book of guidance and a sword that defends it"

Let's try an example: if you filled MetLife stadium with American gun owners and one turned out to be violent, how fair is it to blame the rest of the American gun owners in MetLife?

why'd you watch it in spite of my warnings?

No one forced you. You watched it because you want too. (don't lie now and say you didn't watch it, I know you did...)

It's reality. Last week I saw a cop get shot point blank range. Didn't hear the poutrage back then.

Sometimes it's important to have a true understanding of the world and the events around us. To make the horror a reality. It gives us proper perspective. I don't revel in it, but it happened, and personally I think it's important to have a true understanding of the scale of horror that happened.

And for those that disagree, don't click the link.

There will also be a partial video of the Cops shooting someone, by partial I mean the last minute or seconds, and liberals will proclaim that it's all the evidence they need to see to automatically convict the Officer(s).
