At least 30 dead, 100 injured after truck drives into Bastille Day crowd in Nice

A large truck drove into a crowd of people who had gathered for a Bastille Day fireworks show Thursday in the southern French city of Nice, killing at least 30 people and injuring 100 more, a police official said.

The official told France's BFM TV that the driver of the truck was also dead. Witnesses told the station that the driver fired shots into the fleeing crowd on the Promenade des Anglais, a major boulevard along the Mediterranean Sea.

According to current reports after driving though the crowd the driver got out with a gun and started shooting.

Islamic terrorists. These are Muslims. These Muslims do not represent the majority of Muslims. But they do represent Islam, albeit a small fraction. That fraction is about 1% of Islam. That 1% is about 1,000, 000 radical adhering Muslims. Out of that 1 million there may be about 10,000 or more who are militant.

This is is not a minor threat, or some JV team to dismiss. This president is incompetent to deal with this threat. His sympathies for the religion of his family has clouded his judgements and makes him culpable for some of these incidents.

Post 9/11 what homegrown terror attacks by Muslim radicals happened on Bush's watch?
 
I really don't understand why some want to compare this or these people to Christians or Christianity. This is happening now. Not a thousand years ago.

Yes them being muslim has something to do with it. If you are a christian or any other religion you inherently have barriers up against radicalization by muslim extremists. In fact I would argue that a hard core born again christian would be less susceptible to the message of terror than a secularist.
