At Least 1 Dead in Shooting at Texas Church

You're delusional if you think a buyback program would work here. In the countries where these confiscation schemes "work", the gun ownership rate beforehand is nowhere near what it is here, and guns don't figure into the culture much. It "worked" in Australia for these reasons.

It would be a monumental failure if implemented here. It would also create a larger illegal market than the current one for drugs.

The black market for AR-15 style weapons, their components, and their ammunition is quite strong in the SOTC (what used to be California).

Pass an Amendment if you actually believe that. Until then, it's a Constitutional right. And before you try to use semantics on the 2nd Amendment, DC v. Heller and McDonald v. City of Chicago did in fact rule that it applies to citizens and not just militias.

It is not a constitutional right. The constitution does not give this right. The right of self defense is inherent.

The answer is obvious. The number and ease of availability of firearms.

There are currently some 300 million guns owned by private citizens of the U.S. Out of that only a few are used in mass shootings.

The number and availability of firearms has NOT resulted in all of them being used to murder people.

Compositional error fallacy.

I'm not a Christian myself, but I was raised with the religion. I don't remember Jesus saying anything about weapons.

Even though Christ was a pacifist in some regards, his message was not that you should let yourself be killed by criminals. He did get killed by the state, but his death was not intended to suggest that his followers should martyr themselves.

Quite right. He didn't condemn any Roman just for carrying a sword.

Happier- but your assertion that I ' hate Jews' ranks you with all the other JPP ecocidal, gun-promoting, pro-semitic ass-heads.
Like them- you won't find any reference to any of your fabricated ' Jew-hatred ' anywhere in any of my contributions. However, your error does warrant reminders of your penchant for Eskimo-sodomy. I'll be happy to provide them.

Bigotry. YALIFNAP

We've missed your stupidity, while you've been off fucking up somebody's festive vacation. Welcome back for your 2020 ass-kickings.

What sort of a fool would think that promoting one ethnicity over another wasn't racist ? You're dummer than you think.

Go sodomize an Eskimo.

So, if I had a signature that said, "Pan-Africanism is racist", you wouldn't tend to assume I might have an issue with Africans overall?

Fair enough, but a specifically mentioned right in the Constitution is easier to defend legally than an implicit one. That's part of why the 2nd Amendment is so important. As you can see with this thread, progressives will often try to severely limit or ignore rights that aren't specifically mentioned. They even try to do it with ones that are, but because of court rulings, they usually can't.

So you'd be expected to agree that the Palestinians can shoot any invaders of their country.

You won't - because you're a hypocritical asshole- but that's a given, not the point

I can't speak for him, but in principle, I can agree with this concept.

Granted, it seems odd that you would take this position, given your contempt for guns. Maybe now you understand their importance?

Did I say that states shouldn't be armed ? You're either trolling or even dummer than you think.

Link to a definition of ' anti-PanAfricanism '

List a few confirmed anti-PanAfricanites.

Point out some countries wherein ' anti-PanAfricanism ' is a criminal offense.

Show some states which fund and support PanAfricanism at the expense of states subjugated by PanAfricanism.

Then go sodomize an Eskimo.

You keep misspelling "dumber."

We might agree on one thing though. If you're saying that Hamas's radicals should be disarmed and that only the Palestinian state should have guns, that sounds like a good idea.

Hamas IS the Palestinian state, dumbass- voted in by a landslide.

' Dumber ' is spelled ' dummer ' for dumbasses.

Either you didn't read my post very well, or you're assuming that "Hamas radicals" make up the entire government. To be fair, the latter assumption could be seen as accurate.

I was making a distinction between the Palestinian state and Hamas radicals. Yes, I'm aware that Hamas is the majority party. I'm not assuming that all Hamas officials are terrorists.

“Inherent” or universal rights are bunk.

The “inherent” right to self defense with a gun is a special kind of bunk.
