Assad Bombs Same Town Again...trump Still A Flaccid Orange Buffoon.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi applauded U.S. airstrikes against Syria over its use of chemical weapons against its own people.

"Making sure Assad knows that when he commits such despicable atrocities he will pay a price is the right thing to do," Schumer said in a statement released Thursday. "I salute the professionalism and skill of our Armed Forces who took action today."

Even the stupidest of Democrats in congress are smarter than you.....:fu:

Centrist democrats are the bane of the party.

They are often as much of a problem as far-right republicans are to the Republican Party.

I understand that Assad waited for trump to take office before he dared to use chemical weapons again.

Assad knew he could count on a scumbag like Trump, who cares more about the almighty dollar than he does human life, to do nothing in response.

Pelosi and Schumer both supported the 2013 resolution authorizing military action against Syria for the chemical attack then, their positions are consistent. Most Republicans including Trump did not support such action and have reversed themselves.

Trump was a civilian back then and didn't have access to secret intelligence in 2013....and hes is not afraid of Putin like Obama was.....

In other words, he had no idea what he was talking about in 2013 .. nor when he used the same words to convince dumb people to vote for him.

I agree with you.

So then he shouldn't be flapping his gums if he didn't know. Funny though many Republicans (who had access to the intelligence) were also against striking Syria then but are suddenly on board now even though Assad hasn't changed and has been killing civilians in horrible ways for a long time.

So you acknowledge that back in 2013 Trump was just a clueless blowhard, spouting off on subjects he knew nothing about.

Thanks for admitting as much.

Well, they're suddenly in favor of infrastructure spending too. Go figure.

Is anyone in the Trump admin talking to each other?

Haley is still talking pretty tough regime change today but Tillerson has backed off almost completely. Four days it ago he was talking regime change, yesterday he became less forceful and today he's saying the US objective was limited to deterring further chemical attacks, and not the start of a campaign to oust Assad.

Hilariously today Tillerson is claiming Russian incompetence in regards to allowing Assad to use chemical weapons and that "I don't draw conclusions of complicity at all" but just yesterday he said it could be that they are either complicit or incompetent. How can he he claim "at all" when he raised it as a possibility yesterday? And does he seriously want us to believe they just weren't paying attention.

I see Assad was careful not to use Chemicals this time. Seems like he's testing to see if that line was only Chems or not. Let's see what Trump will do this time.

Since the election, this gaggle just throws things against the wall, and runs with anything that sticks. Evidently, they believe that the same methods can be employed once they're in office.

trump will do nothing, as he sees that Assad isn't the least bit worried about the U.S directly engaging Russia in Syria. trump is hoping that this embarrassment simply fades away.

Assad doesn't use chemicals on every attack. His not using them on this attack means nothing. Business as usual.

Him flying from the same airfield that US taxpayers just spent 70 million dollars to 'destroy' means Assad is giving Trump the finger .. and that 70 million was wasted on a façade.

did he use chemical weapons again?.....

Assad has been killing civilians, women and children with all kinds of weapons, including chemical weapons, all along.
Last week it was on TV...
Trump likes TV...
Trump doesn't like briefings...
Trump needed a diversion last week... So now the US bombs both sides in a foreign civil war...
You are an asshole Pimp.

I saw that Assad refrained from using Chemical Weapons from 2013 until Rump took over and said he did not care what Assad did... Then Assad promptly used chemical weapons again.

So... Maybe Rump accomplished the same thing Obama accomplished... Just without killing people and without using $90,000,000 worth of military equipment.

Sooo... Those willing. Lets talk, what has Rump accomplished with his attack on Assad's airport?

Assad didn't even blink.

Didn't even get a blink for all the money spent. Assad gave Trump the finger.

Is this what 'making America great again' looks like?

I tend to agree, Trump had about the affect on Assad as a single mosquito in the jungle. But it made a splash at home. Almost seems coordinated with Assad and Putin to me.

In the light most favorable to Rump, he put Assad and Russia on notice that they can continue what they are doing, as long as terrible images of dead kids don't end up on American television.

Good point. trump won't even know about chemical attacks unless they show up on Fox.
