Well, there is a material difference. Chemical weapons are a violation of international law anytime they are used. No additional just war analysis is required.

His two prime international mouthpieces both make statements on the same day just 9 days ago about how Assad's future was up to the Syrian people. Trump sent Assad that message and Assad cracked open the Sarin.

Now Trump sent Assad another message: Don't kill civilians with nerve gas.

That message isn't about "vital national security interests" or the poor children, the reasons Trump actually gave for the missile attack.

"Making sure Assad knows that when he commits such despicable atrocities he will pay a price is the right thing to do," Schumer said in a statement released Thursday. "I salute the professionalism and skill of our Armed Forces who took action today."

Even the stupidest of Democrats in congress are smarter than you.....:fu:

Pelosi and Schumer both supported the 2013 resolution authorizing military action against Syria for the chemical attack then, their positions are consistent. Most Republicans including Trump did not support such action and have reversed themselves.
