d) While the .45 ACP cart. is undeniably an able cartridge as i have already asserted multiple times in this thread, there are superior cartridges such as the 10mm.

e) I like the .45 ACP cart. just as much as the next gal. But I'm not married to it. If lethality is the criterion, why not the 10mm?

My buddy former Special Ops, bought and carried his own Sig. Used it a lot. When it absolutely positively HAD to fire, you want a Sig.

Or a glock and they require less cleaning

Glocks are an ABSOLUTE abomination to ANYone shooter that demands & requires full control of his handgun. The only way I know of to drop the hammer on a Glock is to pull the trigger. If there's a cart. in the chamber, that's gunna make a real loud noise!
Glocks are so spectacularly hideous, I wouldn't allow one on my estate.
I'm astounded it's even legal to market such a monstrously dangerous design.

Whatever else Cg #67 has to say of Sig, there's one more thing. With the Sigs I've seen P228 & P239 for examples) there are not just one way to drop the hammer safely on an occupied chamber, but two. Not even a Colt can do that.
